You know that feeling you get when you return home after a week of camp; you don't really know what to do with your time, you miss the lake, your friends, the games, the songs, just the very atmosphere of camp? You find yourself constantly reminiscing on the memories made, looking through photos, wishing you could do it all again, and telling everyone that you CAN'T WAIT til next year? As fellow v
eterans of camp, we understand exactly what you're going through and know just how hard it is to go back to normal life after camp. So we decided to create a place where you can come and experience all the things you love about camp right here in Saskatoon, once a week! Every Tuesday we will open up Forest Grove Church from 7:00pm - 9:00pm for an evening of camp. The Youth For Christ Staff (the makers who bring you Gymblast), Camp Kadesh Staff, Redberry Staff and Forest Grove Church have all come to together to start what we call The Connection. If you have heard of one of these places, all of these places, or none of these places, no worries! Everyone is welcome to come to The Connection. And just what is The Connection you ask? Well, it's a program we have formed to keep YOU connected -- connected to the relationships formed at camp, with fellow campers, staff, and God --, to give you a place to come and play camp games, sing camp songs, hang out with really superb people, listen to some camp speakers, and to give you the opportunity to carry that camp environment with you throughout the summer. As previously stated, The Connection is open to anyone and everyone. If you have friends who have never been to camp, bring em out! If you met new friends at camp, text em up or shoot them a facebook message, The Connection is THE perfect place to hang out. If you yourself have never been to camp, this would be a great place to come check out what everyone is talking about! Even if you think camp is not for you, come out anyway, you're guaranteed to have a good time and meet some really spectacular people! WHO: You! Your friends! Camp Cabin Leaders! Camp Speakers! YFC Staff! WHAT: A place to come hang out, just like at camp! WHERE: Forest Grove Community Church, Saskatoon! WHEN: Every Tuesday from 7:00pm-9:00pm starting July 15th! WHY: Because camp is a beautiful place that is hard to say good-bye to, so we want to continue camp for you all summer long! And give those who have never had a camp experience a chance to come enjoy the fun!
