We have had a fantastic summer together in community! Every week we've had Solid Rock Youth on Wednesdays, and we've been visiting homes with pools for swimming and Bible Study! Thanks so much to the Wards, Myatts, Renauds, Ingles, and Anthonys for hosting us at their homes this summer! Plus, just a couple of weeks ago, we had Camp Lead for middle school and spent an amazing week together!

For the next two weeks, we have a summer break from Solid Rock Youth. There is no Solid Rock Youth tonight, August 26, or next week on September 2.

Here's how our fall starts... we have a Pre-Launch Concert of Prayer night on Wednesday, September 9 and our official Fall Kick-Off Party & After Hours on Wednesday, September 16! We are so excited about the fall and everything God will do in us and through us! Keep an eye out for more info as we get closer!

Foundations: High School & Young Adults - Introducing our updated and rebranded Sunday morning Bible Overview, Survey, Theology, and Apologetics course!

This group meets every Sunday and is a mix of large-group teaching and small-group discussion around the foundations of the Bible and the Christian faith! We have three movements each year: Bible Overview, Bible Survey, and Theology/Apologetics. This group meets every Sunday and is a mix of large-group teaching and small-group discussion around the foundations of the Bible and the Christian faith! Camp Lead has been fantastic! We’ve done inductive Bible study, learned about our leadership SHAPE, served by making food for the meals ministry, served at Kingswood Camp, served at the food bank and at the pregnancy centre. It’s been a joy to spend the week with these 20+ middle schoolers and see how God is moving in their lives!

This Summer at New Minas Baptist Church, we are excited about all the opportunities we have to serve God by loving kids and pointing them to Jesus!

We have 3 weeks of Sports Camps, 1 Drama Camp, our annual Vacation Bible Camp, and our regular Nursery [age 0-2], Sprouts [age 2-5], and Orchard [grades P-5] on Sunday mornings! We need many volunteers to make all of these exciting programs work! We need 4-6 adults and 4-6 teenagers to volunteer each Sunday. At each sports/drama camp, we need 6-8 teenage volunteers. At VBC, we need many volunteers!
