Jesus tells a simple story about a farmer scattering seed.

Some seed never takes root. Some spring up quickly but don’t last. Some are crowded out. And some seed falls into good soil and produces a harvest.

This morning, we are invited to consider not simply what we hear, but how we hear.

This morning, we were reminded that Jesus didn't come to patch up the old - He came to make all things new.

The invitation of Jesus is not just to believe something new, but to become someone new.

The good news is that God's stretching is not meant to break us—it's meant to grow us.

May we remain soft, moldable, and responsive to the work of the Holy Spirit. May we have the courage to follow Jesus into the new territories of grace, renewal, and transformation He has prepared for us.

In a world constantly pulling for our attention, Pastor Esther reminded us today that the way of Jesus is not frantic striving, pressure, or performance.

Again and again in Gospel of Mark 1, we see Jesus step away from the noise, the crowds, and the urgency to be with the Father.

Jesus refused to let the crowds define His purpose.

And that’s the invitation for us too.

To slow down.
To pull away from the noise.
To stop trying to sustain ourselves apart from God.

This morning, Pastor Daniel reminded us that Jesus’ power is not cold or distant- it is deeply personal and full of compassion. He doesn’t just heal crowds— He takes people by the hand.
