Please see the instructions below for Facebook Live Stream for Dad's Celebration of Life. This is a CLOSED/PRIVATE group so if you believe there are other people overseas that would like to watch, please let me know.
1) Logon onto Facebook with your normal Facebook credentials.
2) In the search bar area, start typing Craig William Dungan (not case sensitive). This should auto fill with 'Craig William Dungan-Celebration of Life'
3) Select that and you will be led to the search results page.
4) Select the Highlighted Craig William Dungan - Celebration of Life
5) This will take you to either the Events page for this community event or the actual Home page for this community event called ' Craig William Dungan - Celebration of Life'
6) Select HOME on the left-hand side of the page just above POSTS link located just below the round logo photo of Craig steering the boat.
7) Depending on the time you have logged into Facebook and landed at the Celebration page for this live Facebook stream of the service, you may or may not already see a video posted. If you don't see the video post, that's because we have not yet started the live event. If you do see the video, just go ahead and click on it to join in live (there is about a 20 or so seconds of delay to the actual event happening here in Ontario, Canada)
If you do not see the video....we have not yet started the Facebook Liove event. Please be patient. Live video will probably commence about half hour or less before the top of the hour. Actual celebration proceedings commence at 2pm Eastern Standard Time (9pm South African time)
Initial video will be zoomed in on slide show and you will be hearing ambient room sound, so don't expect audio clarity, it will just be the video/slide show with Craig's favorite playlist playing until we get started.
Sound will improve once room audience settles down and there is proceedings from main center stage where the video will be static focused on.
Please not that there are additional tools found in the bottom right hand corner of the video page to better help you during the viewing (Volume control, Video Playback Quality, Screen size to Full Screen or fill page so you may continue to use Facebook and related FB tools during video playback.
Posts, conversations and likes may or may not be available during the live event depending on final family wishes. If turned on, be mindful and respectful of this fact as others are watching this too)
Do not panic if you cannot log on, navigate to the right page or be able to watch live. The whole proceedings will be recorded as backup to this live Facebook video share and may be shared with you and/or posted at a later date.
