Have you read about MSC's approach to Risk Management in the most recent issue of InsideMSC (Issue 20)?

Risk Management training and practice allow workers to be as safe, free, and healthy as reasonably possible so they can fulfill their Great Commission work even in difficult and dangerous places. While we do what we can to support workers in high-risk locations, we know that their circumstances are under God's control alone. Today, let's pray for safety and courage for workers in difficult locations. Let's also pray for the MSC Risk Management team to have wisdom in supporting each unique situation.

The bags are packed, but the most important preparation is prayer. As the Moldova team heads out, please join us in praying for:

Travel Safety: For smooth flights and logistics as the team travels to Eastern Europe.

Effective Outreach: That the ESL camps would be a fun and fruitful bridge to share the Gospel.

Did you know that CMIAID in Moldova runs a fire service? What a unique ministry! In 2012, CMIAID staff learned of their local fire station's lack of resources. They eventually decided to open a station at the base. Through this unique ministry, God has opened many doors for the Gospel and community connections.
Firefighters respond to an average of 70 incidents per year. Following the incident, they distribute a specially prepared Gospel leaflet. They also do follow-up visits to those affected by the incident to see if additional help would be beneficial.

Let's be inspired to have hearts and minds open to the unique ways God may want to use us in our local communities. Sometimes it's a special interest, other times it's a vital need.

…But the Lord equips. It’s not you, it’s not what you’re able to do but your availability.”

Vonnie Mejorda didn’t have ministry experience besides volunteering in Sunday School and Awana. She wondered if that would be enough to do full-time ministry. But God has used her skills with children, as well as her accounting knowledge, for His kingdom work in the Philippines.
