What a Sunday! 🎉 We kicked off our 20th Anniversary month with worship, communion, and a powerful message from Pastor Jason Lock 🙌

So thankful to commit this ministry year unto the Lord! 🙏

Guided by Psalm 67, we pray that we would be a church on mission — making disciples and proclaiming the hope of Jesus, not for our sake, but for the fame of His name. 🌎✨

May God’s blessing rest upon His church, may His ways be known among the nations, and may all peoples praise His name greatly!

All glory belongs to the Lord. Hallelujah! 🙌

Join us for our annual Churchwide BBQ & Ministry Launch on Sunday, September 13, after the second service! As part of our 20th Anniversary Celebration Month, we'll enjoy lunch together, connect as a church family, and learn more about the ministries and serving opportunities at Hope Markham. Lunch is provided, and there will be fun activities for the whole family, including bouncy castles and gaga ball for the kids.

Join us this September as we celebrate our 20th anniversary and God's faithfulness to our church! Throughout the month, we'll reflect on Scripture through a special sermon series, enjoy churchwide celebrations, purchase exclusive anniversary merch, and take part in fun activities like our weekly social media prize challenge, photobooth, backyard live band, and more. We can't wait to celebrate all that God has done and look ahead with hope to all He will continue to do.

What a joyful Sunday together as a church family! 🧡

We’re so thankful for Pastor Myles Holmes from Redemption Newmarket, who faithfully unpacked God’s Word for us. We’re grateful for the ways the Lord continues to speak, encourage, and grow us through His Word!

We also had the joy of celebrating a child dedication for a family who has faithfully and joyfully committed themselves to our church family. What a beautiful reminder of God’s faithfulness! Let’s continue to pray for this family as they seek to raise their child to know and love the Lord. 🙏

Pastor Matt also shared some exciting updates during our Family Chat:

🙏 We’re so thankful to announce the selection of three Elder candidates! What a blessing to see God raising up leaders to serve and shepherd His church.

🙌 We’re incredibly grateful for Stephen Marisette and his faithful service as Men’s Director. As Stephen takes on a new leadership serving role, William Ah-Ton will be stepping in as our new Men’s Director. We’re thankful for both their willingness to serve and excited for what God has ahead!

❤️ Pastor Paul will continue to be on staff, overseeing specific ministries, while also serving with GCC Canada in pastoral care and other ministry needs. We’re thankful that his gifts and experience will continue to bless our church and the wider church family.

So much to celebrate, and yet we’re reminded that we are deeply dependent on the Lord for His wisdom, guidance, and strength. Please join us in praying for all these things as we trust Him with what’s ahead!

Theology doesn’t have to be intimidating! Join us for this Core Course as we explore the essential doctrines of the Christian faith alongside a community of believers, covering foundational questions about who God is, what the Bible is, who we are, and how God saves.
