ANNOUNCEMENTS

For the month of May, Mission and Outreach will be collecting Proteins for the Foodbank (e.g. peanut butter, canned meats, and stews). For Dayspring Pregnancy & Family Support Centre located in Woodstock, the committee will be collecting diapers and baby wipes. These items can be placed in the basket near the Lazarous Cupboard.

The Baby Bottle fundraiser will run between Mother’s Day and Father’s Day with proceeds going to Dayspring Pregnancy & Family Support Centre. Empty bottles are located in the sanctuary, and they can be filled with change and returned to the church office by Father’s Day – Sunday, June 21st. Thank you for your support!

Planned Giving at Trinity United. Have you considered leaving a gift to Trinity United Church in your will, or listing Trinity United as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy, RRSP, RRIF, or TFSA? Information brochures on the benefits and process are on the side table in the sanctuary.

BROADVIEW MAGAZINE: is transitioning to an annual subscription model featuring six print issues in 2026 (instead of the previous 12 issues yearly). The cost remains the same at $30/year. Renewal information will be received at the office in late July, with collection of fees and any changes due by the end of September. Stay tuned!

CD BBQ - Sunday, June 21st after church.
Please sign up to let us know if you will be attending and how many burgers, hot dogs, or veggie burgers your family would like. We can also do gluten-free buns.
Please bring a lawn chair, your reusable dishes and a side dish to share.
We will provide the main course and cold drinks.
Looking forward to seeing everyone out!

If your committee/group will not be meeting during the summer months (July/August), please let Leslie at the church office know. Share your last meeting date, and the date when your committee will start up again in the fall. Thank you!

COFFEE VOLUNTEERS: The Board has requested that committees sign up to prepare and serve refreshments. Someone from the following Committees may approach you to help. We are trying to get more people to be involved!

GREETERS REQUIRED: This involves standing in the foyer from 10am – 10:30am on Sunday morning greeting members of the congregation/visitors, directing them where to place their offering, and presenting the offering during the worship service. Please indicate your interest by putting your name on the sign-up sheet in the sanctuary.

GIVING TO TRINITY- Trinity can accept e-transfers. Address to transfer your donation is [email protected] It is set up that you will have to ask a question to be answered by the bookkeeper, Julie. Please make the question something simple like “what is the month?” or “what town is the church located?

The M&P Committee would like to invite everyone to enjoy some cake and fellowship during Coffee Hour Sunday, May 24th, as the Trinity church family celebrates our Volunteer Appreciation Sunday. Please plan to stay and enjoy some wonderful treats, and the opportunity to give yourself a pat on the back for all your volunteer support here at Trinity United.
