Description:
Vedanta Ashram Society (VAS) is a non-profit organization formed in 1981 to meet the community’s growing need for a religious, spiritual and anti cultural center in Halifax region.

Regular Pooja - Every Sunday of the month from 11 am to 1 pm followed by Prasad
2. Friday Pooja - On select Fridays from 7 pm to 9 pm (varies every month).
3. Mata Ki Chowki - Every 3rd Friday of the month from 7 pm to 9 pm and every
4th Saturday of the month from 11 am to 1 pm.

What an absolute joy to watch our youngest devotees shine! Our Hindu Temple Halifax was filled with pure magic as the children beautifully portrayed the story of Shri Krishna’s divine birth.

To top it off, our tiny talents had everyone spellbound with their mesmerizing, soulful bhajans.

Halifax Ram Leela 2026 Auditions!

If you would like your children to perform in this year’s Ram Leela, please complete the audition form below. Selected participants will be invited to audition on September 5th or 6th, 2026.

Please note that participation requires a commitment to 12 Sunday rehearsals from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, leading up to the grand Ram Leela presentation on November 15th, 2026.
