🙏 “Stay beside me, Lord, I pray…” 🙏

Through every joy, every trial, and even the imperfect moments, our deepest prayer remains the same: Lord, stay close to us. ❤️

As Sister Beth sings this beautiful song by Everflow Worship Music, may we be reminded that worship is not about perfection—it is about a heart that seeks God and longs for His presence.

Though there were a few technical issues, may they never distract us from the prayer within this song. May the Lord walk beside us, strengthen us when we are weary, comfort us when we are troubled, and guide us each day.

Stay beside us, Lord, we pray. Never let us walk alone. 🙏🕊️

Pastor Jericho Labro’s powerful message reminds us that we are called to be fishers of men—reaching people with the love, truth, and hope of Jesus. 🎣🙏

Just as Nehemiah rebuilt the Fish Gate, God is calling us to rebuild, restore, and prepare the way for others to come into His Kingdom. May we have hearts willing to serve, hands ready to work, and faith bold enough to cast our nets wherever He leads us.

🙏 Friday Devotion | Trusting God in a New Season 📖

As we head into this long weekend, we are also standing at the beginning of a new season. On Tuesday, many children and young people will return to school—some excited, some nervous, and some stepping into a classroom or school for the very first time.

In every new beginning, we can find comfort in knowing that God is already there.

📖 “The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” — Deuteronomy 31:8

As we enjoy this final long weekend before the school routine begins, let us take time to thank God for His faithfulness and commit the school year ahead to Him.

May our children enter this new school year knowing that God walks beside them each day. May they grow in wisdom, kindness, courage, and faith, trusting Him to guide their steps.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the gift of a new day and the opportunity for a new beginning.

As students return to school on Tuesday, we ask You to go before them. Calm every anxious heart, give courage to those who are afraid, and fill each child and young person with confidence, kindness, and a desire to learn.

Lord, protect them as they travel to and from school and throughout their days. Surround our schools with Your peace and protection. Give teachers and school staff wisdom, patience, strength, and compassion. Give parents and caregivers peace as they entrust their children into the care of others.

Above all, help us remember that wherever this new season takes us, You are with us.

May we seek You first, trust You in all things, and allow Your light to shine through us wherever we go.

When Wednesday comes and strength feels small, 🙏
Remember Jesus is our all. ✝️❤️

Everything We Need

Verse of the Day — 2 Peter 1:3 (NIV)
“His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.”

There are days when we feel like we don’t have enough—enough strength, patience, wisdom, discipline, or faith to handle what is in front of us. Yet today’s verse reminds us of something powerful: God has already given us everything we need to live the life He has called us to live.

Peter doesn’t say that we will eventually have everything we need once we become stronger Christians. He says God’s divine power has given us what we need. Our ability to live faithfully doesn’t begin with our own strength; it begins with His.

That doesn’t mean life will always be easy or that we will never struggle. It means that in every situation, we can turn to God and trust that His grace, wisdom, strength, and Spirit are sufficient for us.

Notice also where this transformation comes from: “through our knowledge of Him.” The more deeply we know God—not simply knowing facts about Him, but walking with Him, trusting Him, praying, listening to His Word, and recognizing His presence—the more our lives begin to reflect His character.

Sometimes we pray, “God, give me what I need to get through this.” Perhaps today He is reminding us: “I have already given you Myself.”

You may feel unprepared for what is ahead. You may feel inadequate for the responsibility God has placed before you. But your weakness does not limit His power. The God who called you is also the God who equips you.

So today, instead of focusing on what you think you lack, ask yourself: What has God already placed within my reach that I need to start using? His Word. Prayer. His wisdom. His Spirit. His grace. The people He has placed around you. The strength He provides one day at a time.

Prayer

Father, thank You that I do not have to live this life depending only on my own strength. Your divine power has given me everything I need to pursue a life that honors You. When I feel inadequate, remind me that You are sufficient. Help me know You more deeply, trust You more completely, and rely on Your power instead of my own. Let my choices, words, and actions reflect Your goodness today. Thank You for calling me and for giving me what I need to walk faithfully with You.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today’s reminder:
I may not have everything I want, but in God, I have everything I need to become who He has called me to be.

🐑 You Are Never Outside the Shepherd’s Care

This photo of a sheep peacefully grazing in the field offers a simple but beautiful reminder of God’s care. The sheep appears calm and content, focused on the grass before it, while the field stretches out around it.

A sheep may not know what lies beyond the field, but it can rest because the shepherd is near.

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” — Psalm 23:1

Life can bring unexpected changes, unanswered questions, and uncertain paths. Yet God’s care remains constant. He sees what lies ahead, knows what is needed, and faithfully leads His people one step at a time.

Just as the sheep in this photo has what it needs for the moment, God provides grace and strength for each day. There is comfort in knowing that no burden is hidden from Him and no need escapes His attention.

Today, be encouraged: the Shepherd is near, the Shepherd knows the way, and the Shepherd can be trusted.

🌿 Rest in His care and follow where He leads.

🙏 Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for being my faithful Shepherd. Thank You for knowing me, caring for me, and walking with me through every season of life. When I cannot see the way ahead, help me to trust Your guidance and rest in Your care. Give me strength for today, peace in my heart, and hope for tomorrow. Help me to remember that You are always near and that I am safe in Your loving care. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
