Day 9: Belly 😊
Today, we’re bringing our awareness to the belly. 💛

Have you ever felt butterflies or a knot in your stomach when you’re worried? Our brain and digestive system are constantly communicating, and stress can affect both how digestion works and how our belly feels.

Sometimes we also tighten or hold our belly inward without even realizing it.

Let’s take a moment together.

Sit comfortably and rest your hands lightly on your belly. Let your shoulders relax, and notice whether you can soften any gripping around your middle.

Take a slow, comfortable breath in, allowing your belly and lower ribs to move naturally. Then gently breathe out. There’s no need to force a big breath.✨

Let’s do that a few more times.

This is a moment to pause and settle, giving ourselves space for rest and digestion.🤍✨

And as you breathe, repeat:
‘In this moment, I give myself permission to soften and rest.’”

💗 BODY AWARENESS DAY 8
✨ Hips & Lower Back ✨

Our hips and lower back support us through so much of our day.

The muscles and fascia around our hips and lower back can become tight and stiff. During stress or emotional overwhelm, we may unconsciously brace or clench these areas, affecting how comfortably we move and feel throughout the body.

Sometimes, we don’t notice how tightly we’re holding ourselves until we pause. You might also notice a clenched jaw, raised shoulders, or shallow breathing.

Today, give yourself a moment to soften. 🌿

Rest your hands on your hips. Keep your knees soft and gently sway from side to side. If comfortable, try small, slow hip circles. Pause for three easy breaths, allowing your jaw, shoulders, and belly to soften too.

You don’t have to force a release or bring up an emotion. Simply notice what you’re feeling and allow a little room for ease. Keep your movements comfortable and pain-free.🤍✨

💗 “I can soften my hold. I can make room for ease, one breath at a time.”

Day 7: 💪👋Today, we’re bringing our attention to our arms and hands. 💛

Think about everything they do for us lifting, carrying, reaching, working, and caring for others. They’re busy all day, and we don’t always notice how much tension we’re holding.

When we’re stressed, we can tighten our arms, clench our fists, or grip things a little harder without realizing it.

So let’s give them a little care. Follow along with me.

Start at the top of one arm. Using your opposite hand, give gentle little squeezes, slowly working your way down the arm toward your wrist. Keep the pressure comfortable, easing around your elbow.

Take your time. Notice how it feels.

Now use your thumb to gently rub circles into the palm of your opposite hand. Let your fingers soften as you massage.

These hands do so much. This is a moment to give something back to them.

Now switch sides. Gentle squeezes down the other arm, all the way toward the wrist. Then use your thumb to slowly massage the palm of that hand.

Let both arms rest comfortably in your lap. Allow your fingers to relax, and take a slow, easy breath.

“I release tension.
I soften my grip.
I give myself permission to rest.”

Take another comfortable breath.

Our arms and hands spend so much time doing. Give them a moment to simply rest. 🤍✨

Part 6: The Chest🤍✨

Today, we’re bringing our attention to the chest and our posture.

Notice where your shoulders are sitting. Gently roll them back and let them settle, allowing your shoulder blades to move slightly toward each other without squeezing. Let your chest open comfortably.

Take a slow breath in, allowing your ribs to expand, then breathe out gently. You don’t need to force a big breath.

So many things we do throughout the day have us looking forward or downward using our phones, reading, cooking, working, or doing hobbies. As we focus, our shoulders can gradually round forward.✨

When we’re under stress, we can also hunch over, draw the chest inward, and hold tension through our shoulders and chest. Taking a moment to change position, open gently, and breathe can feel comforting.

Place a hand over your chest and notice its movement with your breath. Let your jaw soften and your shoulders relax. 🌿

🤍 “I can soften my shoulders and give myself room to breathe.”

5: 👂Before we move down the body, let’s take a moment to bring some gentle attention to our ears. 👂✨

They do so much for us helping us hear and supporting our balance yet we rarely pause to appreciate them.

Start by gently rubbing your earlobes between your fingers. Slowly work your way around the outside of your ears, using a light, comfortable touch.

Take an easy breath in through your nose… and let it out slowly. Let your shoulders soften.

Notice the warmth of your ears, the feeling of your fingertips, and how comforting this little moment can feel. There’s nothing to force. Just breathe and enjoy the gentle touch.

Think about everything your ears allow you to experience music, laughter, birds singing, and the voices of people you love. 🎶🤍

As you finish, let your hands rest and notice how you feel.

I can pause. I can welcome a moment of comfort. 🤍✨

4: 👅👀Today, let’s pause with two areas we often forget to notice: our tongue and our eyes.

Sometimes, without noticing, we tighten the muscles around our eyes and brow when we’re worried, concentrating, or having a difficult day. We can also hold our tongue and jaw tightly. Let’s take a moment to soften and breathe. 🌿

Keeping your head still, slowly look up and down, then from side to side. Keep the movements small and comfortable.

Now gently press your tongue into your right cheek while looking to the left. Come back to centre, then press into your left cheek while looking to the right.

Keep the pressure light, your jaw relaxed, and your breathing easy. Take your time and pause between movements. 🕊️

Come back to centre, soften your brow, and let your tongue rest comfortably. Take an easy breath and speak kindly to your body:

🤍 I can soften. I can slow down. I can take this moment gently.🤍✨

3. Shoulders 🤍
Gently lift your shoulders, then let them settle.

Notice if your shoulders have been creeping toward your ears. Let them settle as you breathe out. I don’t have to carry everything at once.

Busy days, emotional strain, and concentration can leave us holding our shoulders tightly. Pausing to notice and release that tension creates a moment of rest. You can care about your responsibilities while allowing yourself a softer breath❣️

🤍 I don’t have to carry everything at once.
