Sunday Afternoon at 2:00 pm We endeavor to teach believers how to live a victorious Christian life and walk in the blessing of God.

New Beginnings Christian Center began as a pioneer work with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada on September 13th 1992. With a clear direction from the Lord, Pastor Paul Hayes, along with his wife Pamela and two children, Janelle and Stephen... planted this church in the Millwoods community of Edmonton. Established as a ministry of faith and purpose, New Beginnings Christian Center is a ministry alive with the move of the Holy Spirit. With a heart for gathering, unifying, and fanning into flame the Body of Christ, Pastor Paul continues to challenge believers with his gift of passionate, straight-forward preaching. Pastor Paul has a rich and strong anointing to preach with a prophetic edge in the area of building the Kingdom of God. Economic empowerment, successful living, and activating the blessing covenant between God and man is his passion in ministry. Established as a ministry of faith, prayer, and excellence - New Beginnings Christian Center has touched the lives of many with the uncompromised Word of God. We are a non-denominational church family composed of people from all walks of life that are determined to give it all to God, live an uncompromising life, and who are committed to reach others with the love of God and the life changing power of the gospel. We extend ourselves as a ministry that desires to see you abound in the blessings of God. Our hope is that you are touched by our love, encouraged by our faith, and changed by the Word of God.

Faithfulness is not endless striving. There are moments when the honest next step is to grieve what was lost, surrender what cannot be controlled, and entrust the unfinished story to God.
First Peter 5:7 invites us to cast our anxieties on Him because He cares for you.

Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is let go and trust God. 🙏

There are burdens you were never meant to carry alone. The worries about tomorrow, the unanswered questions, the situations you cannot change, and the things completely outside your control.

Psalm 55:22 reminds us to cast our burdens on the Lord and trust Him to sustain us.

Letting go doesn’t mean you’ve stopped caring. It means you’ve decided to stop carrying what belongs in God’s hands.

Give Him the situation you keep thinking about. Give Him the person you’re worried about. Give Him the door that hasn’t opened and the prayer that hasn’t been answered yet.

You may not see what God is doing behind the scenes, but you can still trust Him while you wait. His timing may be different from yours, but His presence remains with you through every season.

Release what is weighing on your heart. Pray about it, place it in God’s hands, and allow His peace to replace your worry.
Let go and let God. He can carry what you cannot. ❤️

Shut out the world and put on your praise!

You can sit in a crowded church and still hunger for something real.

Someone to pray with you when life falls apart.
A place where you can admit you are struggling.
People whose love continues after the service ends.

There is something precious about a church where Scripture is faithfully taught, repentance is welcomed, and hurting people are cared for.

It may have few resources.
It may never draw much attention.
But the faith being lived there matters.

“It’s better to have a little church that is real than a big church that is artificial.”

A large church can be faithful, and a small church can lose its way. The deeper question is what we are becoming together.

Are we learning to love Christ?
Are we willing to let His Word correct us?
Does the grace we sing about reach the people beside us?

A real church is full of imperfect people who need Jesus—and are willing to admit it.

Whatever the size of our congregation, may we seek that kind of faithfulness.

May the love people hear about on Sunday be the love they receive throughout the week.

Surround yourself with the kind of people who don’t just say, “I’ll pray for you.”

Find the ones who actually stop and pray.

The ones who notice when you’re pulling away.
The ones who remind you of truth when your mind is full of lies.
The ones who sit with you when you have nothing left to say.
The ones who point you back to Jesus instead of feeding your anger, bitterness, or fear.

In Mark 2, a paralyzed man couldn’t get himself to Jesus.

So his friends carried him.

And when the crowd blocked the way, they climbed onto the roof, tore it open, and lowered their friend right down to Jesus.

Imagine having friends with faith like that.

Friends who say, “If you’re too weak to walk to Jesus right now, we’ll carry you.”

That’s the kind of friendship I want.

Not a huge circle.
Not people who only show up when life is easy.

Just a few people who love me enough to carry me toward Jesus when I’m struggling to get there myself.

Choose friends who don’t just walk beside you, choose the ones who will carry you to His feet. 👣
