✨ What a powerful Sunday morning! ✨
Pastor Caedmon reminded us Nostalgia is a powerful force, but it has a way of lying to us. It highlights the good moments of the past while conveniently erasing the hard parts and the very reasons we moved on. The Israelites experienced this firsthand in the wilderness, longing for Egypt even while holding heavenly provision in their hands every morning. Following Jesus requires both hands. You cannot carry a cross while gripping the comfort of your old life. God sometimes takes us the long way around not as punishment, but as preparation. The eternal good He has for us is always worth more than the good old days we left behind.

It was also so beautiful to see our church family lifting their voices together during worship.
