What if the reason you are missing what God has for you is not a lack of effort, but a hardened heart? Pastor Josiah shared how watching his four-year-old daughter weep over a cartoon character moved him to ask a difficult question: is what breaks God’s heart breaking mine?
David asked the same thing after his greatest failure. His prayer in Psalm 51:10-12 was not just about forgiveness. It was a cry for a clean, receptive heart so God could lead him into the plans and purposes He had prepared.

God is doing a new thing. Isaiah 43:18-19 asks, can you perceive it? A desensitized heart cannot. But the good news is that God promises in Ezekiel 36:26 to remove a stony heart and replace it with a tender, responsive one.

Pray Psalm 51:10-12 this week and watch what God begins to do.

The God of the mountains is also the God of your valley. Whatever you are walking through right now — trouble, grief, uncertainty, or dry bones — He meets you there. He is not waiting for you to climb back up before He shows up.
In 1 Kings 20, the enemies of Israel thought they had found a weakness: “Their God is only God of the mountains.” They were wrong. God showed up in the valley and proved His power precisely where they least expected it.

Dry bones can rattle. Giants can fall. Weeping can become a place of refreshing springs. Your valley has a new name — breakthrough.

Wherever you are today, He is there. Come find community, hope, and the living Word spoken over your life.

What does it take to build anything worth building? According to Hebrews 10:36, the answer is patient endurance. Not white-knuckling your way through life, but pressing forward with a clear vision of what God has called you to.
Vision gives pain a purpose. Jesus endured the cross because of the joy set before him — that joy was you. When we fix our eyes on him, as Hebrews 12:1-2 calls us to do, he gives us a vision for our lives, our marriages, our families, and our futures. That vision fuels the endurance to keep building even when it is hard.

Whatever you are rebuilding right now — a relationship, your finances, your faith — do not grow weary. Galatians 6:9 reminds us that in due time, we will receive the harvest if we do not give up.

Keep your eyes on Jesus. He is the author and finisher of your faith.

What happens when darkness is so thick you cannot move, cannot see, and cannot even light a fire? In Exodus 10, God removed His hand from Egypt and human ability became completely irrelevant. Not because the Egyptians forgot how to light a torch, but because without God, nothing is possible.
Jesus said it plainly in John 15:5 — apart from Him, we can do nothing. That is not figurative. The plague of darkness proves it.

The question is not whether we believe this truth. The question is whether we live it. Are there areas of your life, big or small, where you have stopped acknowledging God? Proverbs 3:5-6 calls us to acknowledge Him in all our ways, and He will direct our paths.

Come build something that lasts. Rebuild starts with prayer.

When opposition comes, you need more than motivation — you need insulation. Pastor Chris McDonald walked us through three building blocks of resilience that keep the enemy from stealing what God has flowing through your life.
Alive. Bigger. Compassionate. Jesus is alive and seated at the right hand of the Father, ever interceding for you (Hebrews 7:25). He is bigger than any debt, sickness, or broken relationship you are facing (Philippians 4:13). And He is so full of compassion that He numbered the very hairs on your head (Matthew 10:30) — and thought of you when the nails went in.

You are not meant to be isolated. You are meant to be insulated — protected from what would steal your flow, and directed toward the purpose God has for you.

What is your life built on? In Mark 4, when the disciples panicked about the waves, Jesus didn’t focus on the waves—He rebuked the wind that caused them. Sometimes we focus on the effects in our lives instead of examining the foundation.
Jesus tells us in Luke 6:48 that building our lives on Him is like digging deep and laying a foundation on solid rock. When floods come, that house stands firm. But building on anything else—pride, comfort, revenge, or even good intentions—creates a shaky foundation that will eventually crumble.

God has bigger dreams for your life than you can imagine, but they can only be built on the solid rock of Jesus and His Word. Not God plus something else. God alone. The deeper you dig into His Word, the higher you can build. What areas of your life need rebuilding on the right foundation?
