Power Pentecostal Church Calgary Yet oddly, Jesus does not make this connection explicit.

Mark 11:22
We have noted that the cursing of the fig tree is closely related to the cleansing of the temple, with both symbolizing God’s judgment against Israel.

Death thought it won, but Jesus was just getting started. He gave His life for three days and took it right back, permanently shattering the barrier between life and death. If He can conquer the grave, He can handle whatever you're facing today. 🙌🔥

We don't serve a God confined to history books or statues. We serve a LIVING God. ⚡️

Think about the authority it takes to willingly lay your life down for three days, and then simply take it back. In that one move, Jesus didn't just cross the line between life and death—He completely demolished it. Because He lives, whatever is dead in your life right now can live again, too.

How has the living God shown up in your life this week? Let us know in the comments below! 👇

You cannot defeat a giant by sitting on the sidelines. If you want to see real change, you have to be willing to bring the fight to the enemy.

Let's be real—it won't be easy. When you decide to go on the offensive for your peace, your family, and your purpose, you are going to take some hits. The enemy will throw everything he has at you. But a setback is not a defeat.

Scripture says that from the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. That means it takes a holy determination, a fierce faith, and a refusal to back down. Stand your ground, take the hit, and keep pushing forward. The victory is already yours in Christ Jesus. 🙌🛡️

Most people wait for the morning to tackle their problems, but the truth is, the day and its destiny are fought and decided at midnight.

There is a shift that happens in the spiritual atmosphere in the midnight hour. It’s where the plots of the enemy are dismantled and where the divine plans of God are anchored into your life. When you learn to pray, decree, and praise in the dark seasons—and the literal dark hours—you command your morning before your feet even hit the floor.

Don't let the day just happen to you. Wake up, take authority, and decide your destiny in the place of prayer. 🛡️✨

👇 Who is ready to take back control of their days through the power of midnight prayer? Let me know in the comments.

There is a profound peace that comes when you realize that everything operates on time.

Right now, there might be a plot of frustration, setback, or spiritual warfare trying to disrupt your life. It feels urgent. But remember this: even the darkest plots have an expiration date. Meanwhile, God is working behind the scenes on a divine plan that cannot be rushed and cannot be stopped.

If it hasn't happened yet, it’s because the time isn't right yet. Don't let the enemy's frantic pace rob you of God's perfect peace. He makes all things beautiful in His time.

👇 Drop a "I trust Your timing" in the comments if you are resting in His plan today.

No matter what yesterday looked like, hope is the fuel that keeps us going today. It reminds us that our current season is not our final destination.

And never underestimate the power of a smile. Keeping a smile on your face during a trial does wonders—not because your circumstances have changed yet, but because it proves your inner joy is stronger than your outer struggle. It’s a physical sign that you trust God to have the final say.

Keep your head up, keep your hope alive, and keep smiling. God's got you. 💛

👇 Share a smile or an encouraging word in the comments for someone who might be struggling to find hope today!

Let’s get honest for a moment. It’s easy to say "God is good" when life is good to you. But what happens when the fridge is empty? What happens when your bank balance is low, the bills are piling up, and pressure is coming from every side?

Could you go through what Job went through—losing everything in an instant—and still use your mouth to confess the goodness and grace of God?

True discipleship isn't about conditional praise. It’s about a faith so deeply rooted that no matter how empty our circumstances look, our declaration of His grace remains full.

👇 It’s a tough question, but a necessary one: Are you praising Him only in the good times, or is your faith built for the storm? Let's talk in the comments.

It’s a strange phenomenon: your "struggle posts" get a hundred comments of support, but your "success posts" get a handful of likes. 🦗

Don’t take it personally.

For some, your misery was a form of currency. It made them feel needed, superior, or simply comfortable in their own lack of progress. When you move past your struggle, you lose your "utility" to those who only know how to bond over pain.

Success is a lonely road because it filters out the people who were only there to spectate your struggle. If they aren't as quick to celebrate your joy as they were to analyze your pain, it’s not a reflection of your worth—it’s a reflection of their agenda. 🛡️✨
