Merry Christmas from our Kids Min fam to yours. Hope it’s full of fun and meaningful moments to think about the wonderful gift of Jesus our Saviour!

This week at WillingdonKids…

In Preschool, we learned that although Solomon was riches and wisest person in Israel, he still made wrong choices and sinned by worship false gods. His son caused Israel to be divided into two kingdom. That is why God had to send His Son, Jesus to be the perfect King.

Clubhouse learned how God uses his great and mighty power to save his people. God used Joshua to lead his people through the Jordan River and God sent Jesus to save us from sin.

In HQ we remembered that God keeps his promises: David wanted to bless God by building him a Temple, but God did the blessing by promising David that his kingdom would last forever. God is true to His word - Jesus is our forever King who is a descendant of David’s family line.

This week at WillingdonKids…

This Sunday in Preschool we learned that Solomon asked God for wisdom. God granted him his request and gave him wisdom, a long life, riches and honor.

In Clubhouse this week we learned that God shows us how to live. God gave us the Ten Commandments but we know we can’t follow them perfectly. God gave us these rules because he loves us, and to show us that we need Jesus.

In HQ we saw how God looks at the heart when he chose David to be the next King, a surprising and unexpected choice. We learned that God’s plan is always the best plan, even when we don’t understand it, or things happen unexpectedly.
