20 years ago, I was sitting in the upper pews of this church, listening to this most impactful sermon that would change the course of my life. I consider Pastor Charles Price as one of my mentors who helped me, through his careful study and presentation of the Gospel, to not only fall in love with the Word of God, but also discern God’s call on my life and dedicate it to His service for the remainder of my days. Today, as a pastor myself and graduate of Doctor of Ministry, I can still listen to Pastor Charles’s sermons with such awe and reverence to God, His creation and His purposes for humanity.
Beloved of God, listen to the words, pay careful attention to this deeply impactful message: ~47:05 “…2 people walked out of this church when we had women serve communion. Can you believe it, the arrogance, the utter arrogance, the ungodly view of each other?…Let’s repent corporately of this attitude. Let’s repent of our male chauvinism, and our racism…, and our other sticking our heads in the air so we’re better than somebody else...” Indeed, let’s stop utter unbiblical nonsenses and get back on God’s agenda for humanity.
