Place: A natural northern lakefront facility with year-round recreation and opportunities. Programs: We provide camp experiences for children, youth, families and retreat groups year-round. People: We invite people into an authentic relationship with God. Values
Christian: profoundly committed to the truth and grace of Jesus. Fun: taking every opportunity to celebrate, laugh and enjoy life. Relationship: we encourage people to make deep, meaningful and lasting connections. Re-“Creation”/ Recreation: engaging people with what matters most through nature, worship, friendship and play in God’s creation. Service: giving of ourselves sacrificially for the benefit of others. ❤️ What we thought was a crisis turned out to be a gift!

What do you do when your kitchen hood motor breaks down at the worst possible time? You call a friend… and they meet you halfway with the motor you need! 🙌

Three hours saved, a huge amount of stress lifted, and at least we can get some sleep tonight! 😂

Tomorrow morning, one of our amazing volunteer helpers will be on site at 7:00 AM to get the new motor installed so we can keep cooking and serving the group arriving tomorrow without disruption.

This is what Christian community looks like. ❤️ People showing up, going the extra mile, and helping carry the load when things go wrong.

We are so grateful for the people God has placed around JOY Bible Camp. What feels like a crisis in one moment can become a beautiful reminder that we are not doing this alone.

We love our JOY family! Thank you for being part of the community that makes this ministry possible. 🙏❤️

🍂 Fall at JOY ♥️

Even as the leaves begin to fall, the beauty that surrounds us still leaves us in awe. Every colour, every tree, every little detail is a beautiful reminder of the One who created it all.

What a great morning kicking off the CCI Ontario Camp Tour!

We welcomed 30 camping professionals to JOY for coffee, a campground tour, and some great conversation. It was a joy to connect with others who share the same mission and purpose of serving through camp ministry — just in a different place.

Grateful for this community!

What a treat it was at our 55+ Fall Retreat!

A wonderful week of old friends, new friends, beautiful weather, and plenty of JOY.

Our guests made the most of every moment, playing Bocce, enjoying pontoon boat rides, heading out on adventures, discovering treasures on thrifting trips, and enjoying the many activities around camp.

There was delicious food around the table, board games and laughter, quiet moments by the waterfront, and lots of time simply enjoying one another’s company.

We were blessed by an incredible concert with Trevor Dick of Flyingbow Ministries, daily worship led by New Day, and inspiring, encouraging messages from Pastor Doug Blair.

From the first hello to the final goodbye, it was a week filled with connection, laughter, worship, friendship, and memories to treasure.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this retreat so special. We are already looking forward to the next time we can gather together!
