Bancroft United Communities of Faith We are a faith community seeking to follow the Way of Jesus in North Hastings St. Paul's worship is every Sunday at 9:45. Matthew's in the Baptiste Village.

We are about sharing our faith with others through worship, pastoral care, and friendship....and of course food. Carlow United meets Sundays at 11:30, and during the summer months worship is 11:15 at St. Andrew's in L'Amable hosts alternative spiritual gatherings and is the home of the our new Labyrinth.

Join us for our 2nd Annual Blessing of the Pets!

Our animals bring so much joy and love into our lives, and it’s time to celebrate them! Whether your companion has a wagging tail, scales, or feathers, all are welcome to receive a special blessing.

📅 When: Sunday, September 6th at 10:00 AM
📍 Where: St. Paul’s United Church (1 Hastings St. S., Bancroft)

How to join the fun:
🐕 Bring your pet on a leash or in a secure carrier.
🧸 Have a child with a favorite stuffed animal? Bring it along for a blessing!
📸 If your pet prefers staying at home or has passed away, bring a photo so we can honor them.

This event is open to the entire Bancroft community, so feel free to invite your friends, neighbors, and fellow pet lovers. We can't wait to see you and your furry (or not-so-furry) friends!

As we prepare for a bittersweet milestone, we want to invite everyone to join us in honoring St. Matthew’s United Church. Our final service is approaching, and it would mean the world to have the pews filled with the faces, families, and friends who have made this church a home for so many years.

Let's gather to celebrate the decades of worship, shared memories, and deep friendships that will live on long after the doors close.

When: Sunday, July 26th, 2026, at 10:30 am
Where: St. Matthew's United Church, 13 Village St.

Everyone is welcome. Let’s make this final chapter one of beautiful remembrance.

It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the closing of St Matthew’s United Church in Baptiste Village.

To say farewell to our beloved Church, we will be holding one final service on July 26th, 2026, at 10:30 am.
