In loving memory of Mrs Rhoda Shamenda - Palapye Local Church

Yesterday the National Bishop Eddie G Mooketsane and Wife , District 3 Supervisor Pastor Douglas Chirongwe and the National Secretary Pastor Tony Mauco joined the Palapye Local Church for a memorial service in honour of their departed Mother Mrs Rhoda Shamenda .

Mrs Shamenda was described by many speakers as an embodiment of the fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control). Her life directly mirrored these nine biblical traits, and was a remarkable giver..

Mrs Shamenda, together with her husband Pastor Dreck Francis Shamenda started mission work in Palapye around 2008 and after a few months of hard work and patience Palapye was organised into a Local church.

We thank the Palapye Local Church Co-Pastor Mrs Masego Nkau together with the leadership for organizing a beautiful memorial service to afford those who knew and loved Mama Shamenda an opportunity to come together, share their grief, and celebrate a life well-lived.

To God be the glory.

Last Night the Gaborone Church of God of Prophecy Branch hosted the Teens All Night Service. Teenagers from The Kanye , Mochudi and Ledumang branches were present as well as the Hosts and other branches.

The service had a welcoming atmosphere. The teens engaged in prayer, and different teachings about their walk of Faith and life as a teen. The teachings included topics such as the Holy Spirit , Social Media and Sexual purity.

Brother Lefika was leading the night as the master of Ceremonies along side Sister Manna.

Brother Evan’s Led the games sessions. This was the opportunity for the teens to connect and lighten up as they connect and get to know each other.

Brother LOISO and Sister Lebogang led the prayer for exams ,

Sister Faith Led a prayer on Self dedication

Pastor Katshipi - closed the night by praying for everyone who was present, rededicating them to the Lord.

1. Experience- That is what shapes you.
2. Beliefs- What you think about yourself/ the world.
3. Traits- How you naturally behave & think.

Why should we talk about identity?
⁃ Helps us make decisions
⁃ To set boundaries- knowing what feels right/ wrong to you.
