IF YOU ARE GOING TO CHURCH, I'VE GOT A MESSAGE TO SHARE WITH YOU
PERSONAL REFLECTION
Tomorrow, as you go to church, the preacher will come with a message - one that he's either prepared or that the Holy Spirit has given him.
I urge you to fully engage with that message of God, rather than shifting the focus onto others.
I know it is easy for the congregation to shout "Amen!" when they believe the preacher is addressing someone else's shortcomings.
Please, child of God, I want to tell you that true transformation starts when we take the word personally and allow it to speak to our own hearts, not that somebody else your 'Amen' refers to
1. As you listen to the preacher tomorrow, you need to engage in self- examination
(2 Corinthians 13:5) urges us to " examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith."
When we hear a teaching, instead of thinking, "I hope so and so heard that, we should be asking, " What is God saying to me?"
2. The purpose of preaching is not just to inform but to transform. ( James 1:22) advises us to " be doers of the word, not hearers only."
It's important to apply the lessons we learn to our own lives. Instead of a simple "Amen" let our response be " Lord, how can I implement(apply) this?"
3. And please, embrace accountability in your spiritual walk
(Galatians 6:5) reminds us " For each will have to bear his own load." We should support one another, but, we must take responsibility for our own growth and actions.
Child of God as you go to church tomorrow open your heart and receive that message personally.
Rather than shouting 'Amen' for someone else, let it be a declaration of your commitment to change, reflecting your desire to grow closer to God and live out His truth in your daily life.
MAY OUR FOCUS SHIFT FROM OTHERS TO OURSELVES, LEADING US TOWARD GENUINE TRANSFORMATION AND DEEPER FAITH. AMEN, HAVE A BLESSED NIGHT.
