Message Tittled: You Are a Tool in the Hands of God
What it means to be God’s tool
A tool has no power of its own. It’s useful only when the Master picks it up. Being God’s tool means surrendering control, letting Him use your voice, hands, time, and weaknesses for His purpose. You don’t create the result — He does. Your job is availability, not ability.
His assignments for you
God wants to use you to carry His assignments. That includes caring for the less privileged, standing up for orphans, and meeting needs others ignore. James 1:27 calls that “pure religion” tools in His hand touching what breaks His heart.
*Scriptures
1. Romans 6:13_“Present yourselves to God... as instruments for righteousness.”_
Meaning: You choose your master daily. Sin wants to use you, but God wants to use you for good. “Whose hand are you in?”
2. 2 Tim 2:21_“A vessel for honorable use... ready for every good work.”_
Meaning: Stay clean from pride, sin, distraction. A ready tool gets picked up for any assignment — including caring for the vulnerable.
3. Isaiah 41:15 _“I make you... sharp; you shall thresh mountains.”_
Meaning: God sharpens you through trials and His Word. He makes you able to break through hard situations others can’t touch.
4. Jeremiah 51:20_“You are My hammer... with you I break nations.”_
Meaning: Ordinary tool, extraordinary purpose. God uses simple obedience to break strongholds over lives and systems.
5. 2 Cor 4:7 _“Treasure in jars of clay... power belongs to God.”_
Meaning: You’re fragile and unimpressive alone. That’s how His power shines when you feed, clothe, or defend someone in His name.
Bottom line:God does the work. You just stay sharp, clean, and available. When He says “go,” go.
