Message: Continuation on Tithes and Offerings
We give by faith through the tithe, honoring and worshiping God as we acknowledge Him with our wealth as He's the source.
The widow in the Bible gave all she had, even though it was only two small coins: โTruly I tell you, this poor widow has put in more than all the othersโ (Luke 21:1โ4).
Another man was commanded to sell all he possessed and follow Christ: โJesus said to him, โIf you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow meโโ (Matthew 19:21).
Through these examples we see that true worship is not in the amount we give but in the faith and surrender behind it.
