SUNDAY SERMON - Pastor T. D. Eetsi
Returning to the Old Ways

People don't like to listen the truth but this Pastor makes it a point to reiterate his commitment to this truth, everytime he steps on the pulpit.

For a prevalent amount of time now in Christianity, there is a growing trend to compromise on the integrity of the word of God.

Leaders in the faith are accustomed to teaching things that are outside the jurisdiction of the word of God, and are drawing masses with their false doctrines.

Christians are also choosing to fellowship in churches that align with their personal philosophies which oppose the word of God.

Today we learnt from the Bible, the importance of going back to the ancient landmarks, which is key in producing people who have a heart for Godly living.

Parents were encouraged to be particularly responsible over the spiritual lives of their children as it caters well for every other aspect of their lives.

Children are at a very fragile age where the knowledge and teaching that they receive define their lives, and inform the trajectory that their future takes.

From a young age, they must be taught who God is, and to love and devote themselves to Him. It is only natural for them to remain in this faith even when they grow up instead of never having taught them anything at all.

Additionally, the best way to teach and train children to be like Jesus is to practice His ways as parents. What are the places you go to, the people you interact with, and the things you say (or don't say) because you're a Christian; your children are watching and learning silently.

Being a Christian is a declaration of surrender to the purpose and plan of God for your life. Thereafter, there is an intentional determination to not only acknowledge God but to relate with Him and fulfill the assignment He gave you. A good part of this is in discipling these young ones so that in the midst of a chaotic world with different kind of situations occuring, they are well aware of their stance as Christians.

Give Jesus to your children, dedicate time to studying scripture with them as well as praying for them too. Children can also be filled with the Holy Spirit and witness for God. And last but not least, find a church that embraces the word of God steadfastly, and raise Godly children who are unashamed of the gospel, love people and serve God always Amen.

TESTIMONY - Kabo A. Obuseng

"I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."
~John 15:5

Bless you family. Some time last month, I received a Prophetic word to decline a certain business deal, and this took place just a week later. I thank God in His wisdom for protecting and guiding me Amen.

I also want to share that I have been drinking for more than 25 years now, and this habit cost me a lot in school, business and finances. By the grace of God, I am amazed at the 3 months I've been in CCC, I have never laid my hands on alcohol. I really thank God because I believe that I will never drink alcohol again Amen.

TESTIMONY - Emily Motlhanka

"How abundant are the good things that You have stored up for those who fear You, that You bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in You."
~Psalms 31:23

Bless you family. I am glad to announce that I received an award from a mini prize giving held in school this past week. It had been a very long month of praying for others and meanwhile taking exams that were giving me much stress. I am encouraged now and thank God Amen.

I also obtained favour and recognition at school from my schoolmates and management too, after serving well in a school function. I thank God Amen.

Bless you family. Earlier this week I had several mishaps happen to me, from escaping several car accidents in my own car and another's car, to almost falling and breaking my leg. At the end of it all, I received land after applying for it back in 2014. I thank God for His divine mercy and protection Amen.

YOUTH MESSAGE - Theo Ditshabisa
Imitating Christ

Are you preaching the gospel to all creation?! This is a good question to ask but even better than it is, "do you sound like the One who sent you?"

A lot of the time, Christians exalt religious comfort over the Father's will and His voice. We do things like alienating others despite carrying light that is supposed to minister to them.

We blame the night but the lamp is in the room, revealing a lack of accountability and responsibility. We turn the word of God into judgment instead of invitation and fail in the responsibility upon our voices.

We chase after the spotlight of being on a pulpit and forget that the time of assignment, is a time of sowing and not a time to be seen. Only the King should be seen.

When we share the gospel, we must sound like Jesus who carries the weight of the truth wrapped in mercy, firmness and holiness not arrogance. Be liberated indeed Christians, from the laws of this world, and live in the only system of God meant to govern your lives.

Stop wanting to feed yourselves and let the good Shepherd lead you to where you must graze. Will we choose the darkness of blaming the devil and others or the light of accountability over the assignment upon us. IT IS TIME TO REFLECT AND TURN TO GOD! Amen.

ECHOES OF WISDOM - Keemenao Bachoni
Love

When we talk of love, we are referring to an unconditional and sacrificial action, in which is the ultimate expression of the very character of God.

God does not possess love, He is the very definition of it, and He calls us to live in His everlasting. We do not have to live in anxiety and fear of rejection any longer.

Especially on our darkest and hardest days is the Love of God ever flowing, and never running dry. We are called not only to receive this love but to share it with others.

Our lives would be so much easier if we loved one another the way God loves us. Let us all dwell in the abundance of love Amen.
