SUNDAY SERMON - Prophet T. S. Molapisi
Title: Arise and Shine
Do you ever find yourself producing results but to a certain degree. It is as though it were made for it to be that way, that you can pass but never excel; that you can make hundreds of thousands but never millions.
Today the Prophet tackled one of the major ways that Christians allow the power of God to work in their lives but with a limitation. MINDSET! Below are several takeaways in today's sermon:
1) Change your mindset. The Bible calls for us to be transformed by the renewal of our minds, in order for the will of God for our lives to be revealed.
2) Push yourself beyond limits. Most of us are waiting for life to change but the real g's are those who will become more intentional and strategic about achieving their set goals.
3) Learn to embrace pain. Change comes with pain because you begin to operate differently than what is the norm and is comfortable.
4) Go through the process. Life is constantly moving and does not stop at the occurrence of a tragedy, heartbreak, or crisis. Keep going even when the devil hits you where it hurts the most.
5) Excuses reap stagnation while obedience reaps growth and success. There is someone whose salvation and trust in the Lord is waiting on you to arise.
6) The Holy Spirit can only operate to the degree that you allow Him to. Submit to Him, and not the devil who brings about doubt and division.
7) Arising depicts faith, as faith requires actions. By now, we should know that there is always opposition in everything that we do, but standing on God's word and acting on it despite the opposition is an act of faith.
Know your purpose. Everyday you are alive is a revelation from God that comes with an assignment to be fulfilled, but guess what-the devil also has a plan for you. Stand on the grace that God gives you to achieve everyday.
9) Do not quit. Finish what you started.
10) Give. When you give, you create space for you to receive from God.
There is no way you can shine if you do not arise. ARISE. Get up from discouragement, betrayal, disappointment, self-pity, and fear etc. ARISE. At the end of every bad news is always a testimony. ARISE. Allow opposition to carve a character out of you that is just like Christ's. ARISE. Take care of what God gives you, and when you find the opportunity to, ARISE AND SHINE! Amen.
