📖 Main Scripture: 2 Timothy 2:2
"And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also."
This week's meditation centers on one powerful word: OTHERS.
The heart of discipleship is not merely receiving from God but becoming a vessel through which others can receive. Jesus lived a life completely devoted to others, and as His followers, we are called to carry that same mindset.
The message reminded us that others need to hear the Gospel, others are carrying burdens, and others need to encounter the love of Christ through us. Abraham was blessed to bless others. David sought someone to show kindness to. Andrew brought his brother to Jesus. Their lives demonstrate that God works through people who think beyond themselves.
As believers, we are called to go into the world without becoming like the world. We are to be transformed by the renewing of our minds and live lives that reflect Christ's selfless love.
This week, challenge yourself to intentionally think about others:
✔️ Who can I pray for?
✔️ Who can I encourage?
✔️ Who can I invite to church?
✔️ Who can I share the Gospel with?
🙏 Weekly Prayer
Father, give us the mind of Christ. Help us to live selflessly and to be sensitive to the needs of those around us. May our lives point others to You, and may we be faithful in sharing Your love and Your message wherever we go. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
