As a church we support, care for, and pray for, Dave and Margie Wood who are ministering at Coober Pedy. They have been there for several years so far through the support of Bush Church Aid, and are keen to share God's love with the people there.

This weekend we are starting a new series! We will be looking at the book of Lamentations. Located in the Old Testament, this book was written shortly after the fall of Jerusalem in 586 BC.

It contains messages of grief, judgement, and hope in the unwavering goodness of God despite circumstances.

We would love for you to join us for our service at 10:30am to explore these themes together.

This weekend we have our annual Willochra Sunday combined service. We are looking forward to getting together with other church members from around the Diocese. The service will be at 11am, followed by a shared lunch afterwards. If you are able to stay for lunch, please bring a plate of food to share.

Have you ever asked yourself whether God has noticed that the world is pretty messy? Some would describe it as chaotic.

In several weeks time we will be having a visit from Church Missionary Society director Mark Peterson. He'll be thinking through with us about this topic, seeing what the Bible says, and answering any questions we may have.

In a few weeks time the combined churches in Port Pirie will be hosting a Light Party, on Friday 31st October, from 6-8pm at the Baptist Church. There will be lots of activities for children to do, as well as a free sausage sizzle. We hope you can come.

Jesus said that he is the light of the world, and he also said that we are the light of the world because we can tell other people about Jesus. Knowing Jesus is the best thing ever. He is life changing, and is really worth celebrating.

Summer Conference is a one-day global mission conference filled with insightful talks from the Bible and mission specialists, rich worship, and stories from CMS missionaries.
