"The greatest among you will be your servant." — Matthew 23:11
What does true service really look like? It’s not about what we keep or control—it’s about looking past ourselves to genuinely care for others.
📖 Matthew 23:1–12
"For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted."
Join us this Sunday as Lynn Templar guides us through this powerful passage, helping us reflect and take meaningful action in our daily lives.
All are welcome—to gather as a community to celebrate the Eucharist.
Sunday, November 1st at 10am.

What is the greatest commandment of them all? 📖✨
Join us this Sunday, October 25th, as Clive Jewell leads us in contemplating our journey with God. Together, we'll explore how love for God and love for our neighbour stand at the very heart of our faith and daily walk. Love becomes the centre from which all other commandments find their meaning. (Matthew 22:34-46)
All are welcome!
We look forward to worshipping with you! ❤️

Blessing of the Animals at Penguin Uniting Church 🐓 🐩 🐕‍🦺 🐌
Joy and wagging tails filled Penguin Uniting Church this past Sunday as Denise Wotherspoon led a delightful Blessing of the Animals service.
The congregation welcomed a variety of beloved pets, including a hen, a snail, and dogs of all breeds. The service included a creative adaptation of "All Things Bright and Beautiful" celebrating creatures great and small. Every pet received a special certificate and treat, followed by a warm morning tea for their owners.

"How do we respond to God’s generosity?"
In Matthew 21:33–46, we see God as the diligent vineyard owner who gives us every good thing. Yet, this difficult text gently exposes our human tendency to react with greed and self-reliance rather than gratitude, care, and sharing.
This Sunday 4th October at 10am, Rev. Liena Hoffman will unpack this challenging parable and share Holy Communion. We’d love for you to worship with us!
