This ministry’s main aim through public speaking and personal Life Coaching, is to set people free from whatever it is that holds them back.

Founded in 2015 by Annette Mace, Set Free To Soar is an organisation that combines public speaking engagements and Life Coaching, to see people set free from whatever is currently holding them down - mental, physical, spiritual, emotional... Annette's heart is set on seeing people soar in the freedom of God's Love! Annette draws wisdom and practicality from her own personal experience with debilitating health issues that lasted over five years. Sharing her experiences of the darkness of depression and the agony of chronic illness, Annette shines the light on the infinite possibilities of our Heavenly Father and how tough times are not the end, but in fact the beginning of a glorious life of strength and joy! Through her book ‘It's Official It's a Miracle!’ Annette shares her gut wrenching lows and her tremendous highs... an incredible encounter with God that sees her healed and transformed! With her down to earth, humorous, and caring nature, Annette engages with hundreds of people in various settings. With no discrimination to size, denomination, or type of organisation; her public speaking engagements inspire and give hope to those who are yearning to be set free!

depression and despair

anticipation and expectation
that life will get better.
I know where I want to live.

Have you ever had a moment, a day, a week, (hopefully not much longer) where you’ve cried out to God saying, “This is too much!!! You’re giving me more than I can handle! It’s NOT FAIR!!!!
I have. I’ve had moments where I’ve spat the dummy with God, I’ve thrown all the toys out of my cot, and stamped my foot declaring,
“It’s NOT FAIR God, that I have to suffer like this!”
Sadly, for me, these moments led to weeks, which then amounted to months, and through no fault of my own, years passed by. These years were filled with exhaustion and frustration, darkness and confusion, pain and suffering…. It didn’t seem fair.
But, His Word tells us that everything He does is perfect, without flaw. Everything He says, every word He speaks, is faithful and true. And all His works are FAIR!! (Psalm 111:7)
What we find ourselves going through at times, may not SEEM or even FEEL fair, but it will be. You gotta trust me in this.
I’ve seen the most wasteful, worthless seasons of suffering in my life, be transformed by the mighty hand of God, to be the most precious, powerful, invaluable, worthwhile experiences I’ve ever navigated.
Hold onto faith. Despite what you’re going through, the TRUTH is…
Everything He says and does is just and good and trustworthy, (NLT), faithful, fair and true (TPT) Psalm 111:7

“I AM FREE!”
Sometimes these words are spoken as a fierce fighting declaration, with power and authority.
Sometimes they’re whispered with desperate tears of hope.
Sometimes they’re shouted from the rooftops in victorious praise.
Regardless of how you say them, these words are TRUTH.
So….
Speak them.
Declare them.
Whisper them.
Cry them.
Shout them.
Pray them.
Praise them.
Because…YOU ARE FREE!

Every day, and in
Every thing…
We have the victory!
Because….
Jesus died and rose again.
He has conquered everything on the cross.
That situation you’re struggling with right now was overcome by Jesus on the cross.
That diagnosis, Jesus has healed it already, when He was beaten, bruised and His blood was shed.
You have the victory. Can I hear an Amen!

But in the waiting, God has a purpose for it and will use it to prepare you to thrive in the place of your promise.

When you’re at the end of your rope,
when you have nothing and no one to turn to but God,
when your hope seems to have run out….
If that’s you right now,
be encouraged because
Jesus says you are blessed,
that happiness, prosperity, abundant goodness and delight will come to you.
If that doesn’t fill your hope tank then nothing will.
(Matt 5:3,4 - check it out in a few different versions).

WE LEARN TO TRUST GOD IN THE DARK
When… We don't know what we’re doing, and
We don't know where we’re going.
When… We don’t know what to do next, and
We don’t know how we got here
When… We don’t know how to move forward and
We don’t know if our steps will be firm
When… We don’t know what God is doing and
We don’t know where He’s leading.
When… We thought we’d have it all figured out by now
When… We thought God would have rescued us already
When… We thought His voice would be unmistakable, and
When… We thought He’d be easier to follow
But WE LEARN TO TRUST GOD…
In the dark
In the quiet
When doubts build up
When questions fill our minds
When His voice is quiet
When the way is not clear
That’s when we really learn to trust God
Because…
There is a way out
He will clear the way
He is speaking
He will make sure you hear Him
He is with you, and
He is leading you.
Trust Him, even, and especially, in the dark.
