Today for Sabbath, we celebrated all the wonderful things that make a great father. 💙

We reflected on the love, guidance, strength, patience and care that fathers and father figures bring into our lives, while remembering that God is the ultimate Father — the perfect example for us to look up to and follow. 🙏✨

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and helped make our special Father’s Day ceremony so meaningful.

We hope all of our fathers, grandfathers and special father figures felt loved, appreciated and celebrated today. 💙

Hey Mernda Church 👋🏼

We’ve got a meaningful and full Sabbath planned this week, with a few special things happening throughout the day 🙏🏼

*Intercession Prayer* will take place straight after Sabbath School at *10:55am*. We’ll meet at the front of the stage.

Intercession prayer is simply a time where we _come before God and pray on behalf of ourselves and others_ — bringing our needs, burdens, gratitude and requests to Him. ❤️ Anyone is welcome to come forward and receive prayer, whether you have something specific you’d like prayer for or you simply want to spend a moment in God’s presence.

We’ll then move into our *11:00am Worship Service* and message 🙌🏼

Following church, we’ll come together for a *potluck lunch* 🍽️ *Please bring a plate to share* and stick around for some food and fellowship.

Then at *2:00pm*, we’ll hold our *Church Business Meeting* in the church building. We’d really encourage everyone to make every effort to attend — there are some important things to discuss, and your presence, voice and feedback matter to our church community.

His message will explore how we prepare for *the great celebration* *that is coming when Christ returns*. What does it mean to be ready? And perhaps most importantly… *what do we need to wear to be suitable for heaven?* 👀

Come along as we unpack what Scripture has to say about being clothed in Christ and preparing our hearts for the greatest celebration of all. ✨

Drawing from Luke 10 and Acts 3, the message will explore what it truly means to put love into action. Jesus’ call to love our neighbours goes far beyond kind words—it’s an invitation to live with compassion, generosity, and a willingness to see and serve those around us.
