Congratulations on such a great initiative for a most worthy cause!

A massive congratulations to our incredible Year 12 students who took part in the Leukaemia Foundation's World's Greatest Shave today. Not only did they brave the clippers, but they also smashed their fundraising target for this vital cause. We are incredibly proud of their leadership, courage, and community spirit. The campaign isn't over yet! If you would like to show your support and help them add to their amazing total, donations are still open: https://www.worldsgreatestshave.com/fundraisers/StPauls

Happy Pentecost 2026!
“They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak foreign languages as the Spirit gave them the gift of speech.”
This was our blessed experience this weekend!
What wonderful celebrations we had at our Pentecost Masses, particularly our special 930am Mass and morning tea celebrating our incredible multicultural parish family. The singing led by children from St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, Kempsey was truly uplifting and we loved the prayers offered in various languages . We then enjoyed a scrumptious morning tea with foods from around the world. Thank you to all who contributed to and supported this special morning! We are one great family of faith, hope and love from many cultures sharing our many gifts and many stories, supporting and encouraging one another, united on our journey by the one Spirit.

It is with profound sadness we share the news of the passing of Dr Sally Towns, a former Director and CEO of Diocese of Lismore Catholic Schools. Sally taught for some years at St Paul's College Kempsey and was always a great supporter and advocate of our parish schools. Sally had a particular care and concern for the poor and the marginalised. There is so much for us to be grateful for in her life of service to the mission of Jesus, especially in Catholic education. She was truly a great steward of the mission, loving and believing in strong Catholic education. May Sally now share the eternal joy of the Kingdom. Thank you Sally! We will miss you!!

Brisbane Catholic Education celebrates the life and service of Executive Director, Dr Sally Towns, who passed away following a courageous battle with cancer.

Across more than 30 years in Catholic education, Dr Towns served with faith, warmth and extraordinary dedication. During her four years as Executive Director of BCE, Sally led our 146 schools with vision, warmth and a steadfast commitment to faith-filled, inclusive and high-quality education for every student.

She leaves a remarkable legacy and was an inspiration to all who worked alongside her. We will remember her leadership with gratitude for the hope she brought, the standards she set, and the lives she shaped through Catholic education.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Sally’s family and we thank God for her life of service. May she rest in peace.
