This Sunday we celebrate the Institution of the Holy Communion, with the Feast of Corpus Christi (The Body of Christ).

As we do so, we are reminded, that -through the Eucharist,: the process of gathering, retelling sacred story, and sharing sacred meal- we are built together into a community: a living Body of Christ: a body of many members, but unified in one purpose: to live out God's liberative love into the world.

Join us, this weekend, as we gather, tell retell sacred story, share sacred meal, and know ourselves to be part of God's great community of those beloved and redeemed.

This Sunday, we are reminded that God is one whose desire for us is safety, nurture, and belonging, and that - ensuring this for us, God would even enter into danger.

As we continue to rejoice in a God who saves, let us look around and ask: 'Where might I see God's nurture at work in my life, today?"
