Happy Birthday Fr Agustinus Mbaga CMF

We celebrate today the birthday of Fr. Agustinus Mbaga CMF (Claretian Missionaries, Congregation of the Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary), Parish Priest of Saint Joseph Parish Church, Katherine, NT.

We thank God for Fr. Agustinus, for his generosity, pastoral zeal, and willingness to continue growing and learning in the service of God's people. He is a faithful servant of God who gives of himself generously to the community entrusted to his care.

Fr. Agustinus, thank you for your deep love of God and God's people, and for your faithful service within our Diocese. We pray that God will continue to bless you and your ministry abundantly.

It fills our hearts with great joy and pride to see Don Mauro Gomez, who once served faithfully as a choir member at Holy Family Parish–Karama, now answering God’s call as a Permanent Deacon.

Your journey from singing praises in our church to serving God and His people in this sacred ministry is truly inspiring. Our parish community is incredibly proud of you. Born and raised in Pampanga, Philippines, Deacon Don Mauro Gomez moved from Darwin to Canberra in 2018 with his wife, Cerisse, and their daughters, Dominiq and Denisse, to pursue his calling to the permanent diaconate.
