New series kicking off this morning! THIS IS US - our values of Story, Prayer, and Justice. These aren’t merely Christianeze lingo to make us sound cool, these are practices that shape our love for God and our love for others. Come along for the journey this June!

The Holy Spirit wasn’t just given for the big moments, He was given for everyday life.

He empowers us to live more fully in the way of Jesus - to be salt and light in the world, not by wielding our own power, but by radically loving others with the sacrificial love of Jesus.

The Spirit leads us beyond our natural abilities so that His love can be seen through our lives: in our homes, workplaces, friendships, hobbies, and communities.

A Spirit-led life isn’t reserved for church services or extraordinary moments. It’s an invitation to walk with Jesus daily, welcoming His presence to guide, shape, and empower us.

You’re filled for a purpose!

It’s still May and we long to know His heart. Join us today, 9:30am as we seek the Father’s heart to empower us through his Holy Spirit.

Where we gather, even 2 or 3, or 10 of us, He is there. Prayer gathering tonight for and churches of Christ nationally. So much to be thankful for and to hope for. In it all, let’s be empowered by him and for his mission.

“I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit.” - John 15:5

What if fruitfulness isn’t about trying harder, but staying closer? Jesus invites us into His vineyard with one simple yet profound call: abide in Me. Not hustle for Me. Not perform for Me. Just remain.

In a world of 2,617 phone touches per day and endless hurry, Jesus offers a different way. Like a grape that doesn’t force its growth but simply stays connected to the vine, we’re called to practice His presence in the ordinary moments - making coffee, commuting to work, washing dishes.

The life you long for flows from the lifestyle of Jesus: Sabbath rest, solitude, prayer, community. Not perfection, but practice. Not striving, but abiding.

Come discover what it means to live from connection rather than exhaustion.

This Mother’s Day, we explored God’s heart for serving others. Bretto took us into John 13 where Jesus didn’t just talk about love, He demonstrated it with remarkable humility - washing feet - even of those who would deny and betray him.

Jesus knew who He was, where He came from, and where He was going. That security allowed Him to go low, to serve sacrificially, without needing recognition or applause.

Here’s the challenge: Jesus said the world will know we are His disciples by our love for one another. Not our words, not our theology, but our towel-shaped, dirt-soaked, sacrificial love. When we’re secure in our identity as sons and daughters of God, we’re free to serve without agenda, without favorites, without needing to be noticed.

God’s heart is that we would pick up the towel in service of others rather than holding onto titles.

This week Jo explored what it means to be truly FILLED with the life of Christ - not living in spiritual deficit, but in His abundant surplus. Paul reminds us in Colossians 3 that Christ’s peace should rule our hearts, His Word should dwell richly in us, and our entire lives become an act of worship.

Reality is we’re overfed with information but undernourished on God’s Word. The invitation today? Surrender your anxieties and let the Prince of Peace fill those empty spaces. Invite Jesus into EVERY area of your life - not just Sunday mornings, but your work, hobbies, and daily decisions.

Don’t run on empty!

Like weeds in a new lawn, when the weeds of sin spring up in the new life planted within us, we have a few options: rip them out carelessly, ignore them, mow over them, or let them grow big and pretend they are a plant. However, none of these last. What’s needed is time with the Kind Gardener who tends gently and humbly to the garden of our hearts. He’s not interested in adjusting our leaves - what is visible - he’s after the roots. Welcome him into the yard of ya heart and let him potter around - he knows what he’s doing.

“Complacency isn’t an event, it’s a process.”

Nehemiah 10 shows a people on fire for God - serious commitment, bold promises, renewed worship.Nehemiah 13 shows the same people… drifting. The Sabbath ignored. Worship sidelined. Mixed loyalties. Quiet compromise where there was once clear conviction. That’s mission drift.

Not a sudden rebellion, but a slow, almost unnoticeable slide:

- Less time with God in prayer and the Word
- Less gathering with God’s people
- More room for “just life” to crowd out devotion

The wall in Nehemiah was rebuilt in 52 days and lasted 515 years, but the people’s hearts drifted in just a few.

If you’re honest, have you drifted? Has your love, focus, or obedience quietly cooled?

The good news: God hasn’t moved. He hasn’t drifted from you. He calls you back.

Maybe today is the day to:
- Do a spiritual “audit” of your habits and heart
- Ask the Holy Spirit to reawaken hunger for God
- Recommit to being set apart, not blended in
Let’s refuse complacency and keep being made more like Him.
