💙 Happy Father's Day!
We honour and send love to the Dads, grandfathers and father figures in our lives today. Thank you for your leadership, wisdom, guidance and care. We are so blessed by you. ⁠

We know today will be hard for many people. For those who have lost their Dads, long to be a Dad, or find today difficult for any reason, we weep with you and pray for you.

This week we continue our series on the Apostles' Creed, focusing on the confession that “Jesus rose again from the dead.” What does it mean to say, “I believe in the resurrection”, and what are the implications of that belief? The creed makes it clear: Christ has risen, Christ reigns today, and Christ will return! Join us at 9.30am on Sunday.

Our annual Working Bee is this Saturday, 5th September. Please join us as we work together to care for the wonderful building and gardens the Lord has blessed us with. All hands welcome and needed! This Sunday we continue looking at the Apostles Creed and what we mean when we say: “I believe in Jesus Christ.." Jesus is the true light in a world that is characterised by darkness. Through God’s only son, we become children of God. What does it mean to you to proclaim this, and what impact does this have on how we make his glory known? Join us on Sunday at 9.30am, all welcome!

This Sunday we begin a journey through the Apostles’ Creed, thinking about what we believe and what difference those beliefs make to the way we live. As we begin with the first line we are reminded that our heavenly Father knows what we need and cares for us. In Luke 12, Jesus challenges us not to live like the world, worrying about food, clothing and the things we have, but to trust our Father and seek his kingdom. Do we really believe that God will provide for us, and are we prepared to store up treasure in heaven? Join us on Sunday at 9.30am. All welcome!

As a church family we’ve been following the story of Jonah over the past couple of weeks. Tomorrow we look at the final chapter we don’t find a nice tidy ending. The book ends with God questioning Jonah. God has been working in Jonah, and here he gets to Jonah’s heart. We don’t know Jonah’s answer to the question that God asks, but the hanging question brings us to a question: What about us? How do we see God’s grace to us? What does God’s grace to us mean as we show grace to others? Join us on Sunday at 9.30am as we explore God’s Word together.
