Dom zu Salzburg

Dom zu Salzburg Der Salzburger Dom ist die Kathedrale der römisch-katholischen Erzdiözese Salzburg und damit Metropolitankirche der Kirchenprovinz Salzburg; sie ist den hll.

Rupert und Virgil geweiht. Für Gottesdienstbesucherinnen und -besucher ist der Dom von Montag bis Samstag ab 06:15 Uhr, sowie an Sonn- und Feiertagen ab 08:00 Uhr geöffnet. Zur Besichtigung ist die Domkirche normalerweise zu folgenden Zeiten zugänglich (Änderungen sind aufgrund von Gottesdiensten, Konzerten u. ä. möglich).

MOZARTEUM UNICHOR × REICHENHALLER PHILHARMONIE 🎼

Join us for an evening of powerful choral and orchestral music on Friday, May 15, 2026 at 7:00 PM.

The program features two remarkable works of the choral-orchestral repertoire:

• Ralph Vaughan Williams — Dona nobis pacem
A deeply moving and rarely performed masterpiece by the English symphonic composer.

• Giacomo Puccini — Messa di gloria
An early work from 1880 by the composer who would later become world-famous for his operas.

For the first time, the Mozarteum UniChor collaborates in concert with the Bad Reichenhall Philharmonic Orchestra, a professional ensemble based just outside Salzburg.

Conducted by Univ. Prof. Jörn Andresen.
