TOPIC ✨ THE FLESH HAS BEEN CRUCIFIED ✨

And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts (Galatians 5:24).

There exists a common misconception among many that the flesh must continually be “crucified” or subdued through repeated struggle and effort. But the Scripture presents a different reality: the Christian has already crucified the flesh.

The Complete Jewish Bible renders our opening scripture beautifully; it says, “Moreover, those who belong to the Messiah Yeshua have put their old nature to death on the stake, along with its passions and desires.” This is not a process but an accomplished reality: your old nature is dead: “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

The reason many still struggle with the flesh is simple: they attempt to achieve what has already been accomplished, applying effort where understanding is required. The more they strive, the more they become subject to the very thing they’re trying to overcome. That’s not how it works. Live in the Word. Accept what the Word says about you.

Even the works of the flesh listed in Galatians 5:19-21 are not attributed to demons but to the flesh itself, indicating that the issue is not external but internal. Understand that this doesn’t place the Christian in a position of disadvantage, because the solution is not found in suppression but in substitution: “...walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh” (Galatians 5:16).

The emphasis is not on eliminating the works of the flesh but on living in the Spirit and by the Spirit, walking in the light and reality of God’s Word. As you walk in the Spirit, the life of the Spirit is manifested in you and through you, and the influence of the flesh is displaced. It helps to understand why the Bible says “...Sin shall not have dominion over you...” (Romans 6:14).

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the substitutionary work of Christ that has translated me from death to life, sin to righteousness, and from darkness to light. I walk in the Spirit and live in the reality of my new nature, manifesting the life of righteousness and dominion, today and always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

DAS FLEISCH WURDE GEKREUZIGT
Die aber Christus angehören, die haben das Fleisch gekreuzigt samt den Leidenschaften und Lüsten (Galater 5,24).

Viele glauben fälschlicherweise, dass das Fleisch ständig „gekreuzigt“ oder durch wiederholten Kampf und Anstrengung gezügelt werden muss. Doch die Heilige Schrift zeigt eine andere Realität auf: Der Christ hat das Fleisch bereits gekreuzigt.

Die „Complete Jewish Bible“ gibt unseren einleitenden Bibelvers wunderschön wieder; dort heißt es „Außerdem haben diejenigen, die dem Messias Jeschua angehören, ihre alte Natur am Kreuz mit ihren Leidenschaften und Begierden getötet.“ Das ist kein Prozess, sondern eine vollendete Tatsache: Deine alte Natur ist tot: „Ist jemand in Christus, so ist er eine neue Kreatur; das Alte ist vergangen, siehe, Neues ist geworden“ (2. Korinther 5,17).

Der Grund, warum viele immer noch mit dem Fleisch zu kämpfen haben, ist einfach: Sie versuchen, das zu erreichen, was bereits vollbracht wurde, und strengen sich dort an, wo Verstehen nötig wäre. Je mehr sie sich anstrengen, desto mehr unterliegen sie genau dem, was sie zu überwinden versuchen. So funktioniert das nicht. Lebe im Wort. Nimm an, was das Wort über dich sagt.

Selbst die in Galater 5,19–21 aufgeführten Werke des Fleisches werden nicht Dämonen zugeschrieben, sondern dem Fleisch selbst, was darauf hindeutet, dass das Problem nicht äußerlich, sondern innerlich ist. Verstehe, dass dies den Christen nicht in eine benachteiligte Position bringt, denn die Lösung liegt nicht in der Unterdrückung, sondern in der Ablösung: „Wandelt im Geist, so werdet ihr die Lust des Fleisches nicht vollbringen” (Galater 5,16).

Der Schwerpunkt liegt nicht darauf, die Werke des Fleisches zu beseitigen, sondern im Geist und durch den Geist zu leben; im Licht und in der Wahrheit von Gottes Wort zu wandeln. Wenn du im Geist wandelst, offenbart sich das Leben des Geistes in dir und durch dich, und der Einfluss des Fleisches wird verdrängt. Das hilft zu verstehen, warum die Bibel sagt: „Die Sünde soll keine Herrschaft über euch haben“ (Römer 6,14).

Lieber Vater, ich danke Dir für das stellvertretende Werk Christi, das mich vom Tod zum Leben, von der Sünde zur Gerechtigkeit und von der Finsternis zum Licht geführt hat. Ich wandle im Geist und lebe in der Wirklichkeit meiner neuen Natur und bringe das Leben der Gerechtigkeit und Herrschaft zum Ausdruck – heute und für immer, im Namen Jesu. Amen

TOPIC ✨ YOU’VE OVERCOME THE WORLD ✨

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith (1 John 5:4).

Our opening scripture presents a truth that should fundamentally change your perspective concerning the world and its influences: you’ve already overcome the world. This is not a promise but a declaration of present truth. You’ve overcome the world and its crippling and corrupting influences. You’ve overcome the world’s system, its economy, economics, and politics.

This is why it’s important as a Christian that you know who you are. Always be mindful of your identity; you’re born of God; and for that reason, the Scripture says you’ve overcome the world! It doesn’t say strive to overcome the world; neither does it suggest a progressive attainment of victory.

This has nothing to do with your effort but the result of what Christ has already done. He said in John 16:33, “…be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” He didn’t do it for Himself; He did it for you. Your victory is a present reality rooted in your oneness and identity with Christ and your faith in His finished works.

The world operates through sensory perception and natural reasoning. But as Christians, we live by faith: “…as it is written, the just shall live by faith” (Romans 1:17). The life in Christ is governed by faith. To walk by faith is to live above the world’s system, to live in transcendence over it.

We’re not called to fight the world, the flesh or the devil. We’ve overcome the world. We’ve crucified the flesh. We’re superior to the devil. What we’re called to do with the world is to tame it and not to love it: “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world…” (1 John 2:15). The absence of affection neutralizes influence.

This was what Paul meant when He said by the Spirit in Galatians 6:14, “…the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.” You’re dead to the world. The systems of this world have no claim, no hold, and no defining power over your life because though you’re in the world, you’re not of this world (John 15:19). Blessed be God!

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the victory I have in Christ. I walk by faith and not by sight, living above the systems and influences of this world. I’m not subject to the world; I’ve overcome it, and I live in that consciousness today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

DU HAST DIE WELT ÜBERWUNDEN
Denn alles, was aus Gott geboren ist, überwindet die Welt; und unser Glaube ist der Sieg, der die Welt überwunden hat (1. Johannes 5,4).

Unsere Eröffnungsstelle vermittelt eine Wahrheit, die deine Sichtweise auf die Welt und ihre Einflüsse grundlegend verändern sollte: Du hast die Welt bereits überwunden. Das ist kein Versprechen, sondern eine Feststellung der gegenwärtigen Wahrheit. Du hast die Welt und ihre lähmenden und verderblichen Einflüsse überwunden. Du hast das System der Welt überwunden, ihre Wirtschaft, ihre Finanzen und ihre Politik.

Deshalb ist es als Christ wichtig, dass du weißt, wer du bist. Sei dir deiner Identität stets bewusst; du bist aus Gott geboren; und aus diesem Grund sagt die Schrift, dass du die Welt überwunden hast! Sie sagt nicht, dass du danach streben sollst, die Welt zu überwinden; noch deutet sie auf ein schrittweises Erreichen des Sieges hin.

Das hat nichts mit deinen Bemühungen zu tun, sondern ist das Ergebnis dessen, was Christus bereits vollbracht hat. Er sagte in Johannes 16,33: „Seid getrost; ich habe die Welt überwunden.“ Er hat es nicht für sich selbst getan; Er hat es für dich getan. Dein Sieg ist eine gegenwärtige Realität, die in deiner Einheit und Identität mit Christus und deinem Glauben an Sein vollbrachtes Werk verwurzelt ist.

Die Welt funktioniert durch Sinneswahrnehmung und natürliches Denken. Aber als Christen leben wir aus dem Glauben: „… wie geschrieben steht: Der Gerechte wird aus dem Glauben leben“ (Römer 1,17). Das Leben in Christus wird vom Glauben bestimmt. Aus dem Glauben zu leben bedeutet, über dem System der Welt zu stehen, in Transzendenz darüber zu leben.

Wir sind nicht dazu berufen, gegen die Welt, das Fleisch oder den Teufel zu kämpfen. Wir haben die Welt überwunden. Wir haben das Fleisch gekreuzigt. Wir stehen über dem Teufel. Was wir mit der Welt tun sollen, ist, sie zu zähmen und nicht, sie zu lieben: „Habt nicht lieb die Welt, noch was in der Welt ist!“ (1. Johannes 2,15). Die Abwesenheit von Zuneigung neutralisiert den Einfluss.

Das meinte Paulus, als er durch den Geist in Galater 6,14 sagte: „… durch das mir die Welt gekreuzigt ist und ich der Welt.“ Du bist tot für die Welt. Die Systeme dieser Welt haben keinen Anspruch, keinen Einfluss und keine bestimmende Macht über dein Leben, denn obwohl du in der Welt bist, bist du nicht von dieser Welt (Johannes 15,19). Gepriesen sei Gott!

Lieber Vater, danke für den Sieg, den ich in Christus habe. Ich wandle im Glauben und nicht im Schauen und lebe über den Systemen und Einflüssen dieser Welt. Ich bin der Welt nicht unterworfen; ich habe sie überwunden, und ich lebe jeden Tag in diesem Bewusstsein, im Namen Jesu. Amen.

TOPIC ✨ HE BROUGHT US OUT TO BRING US IN ✨

And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he sware unto our fathers (Deuteronomy 6:23).

There’s always divine intentionality behind God’s actions. When He brought the children of Israel out of Egypt, it wasn’t to abandon them in the wilderness. The exodus or “coming out” of Egypt was never the end goal; it was the pathway to their inheritance. The “bringing in” was the ultimate purpose. His purpose for bringing them out was to take them in!

This foreshadows what God accomplished for you in Christ Jesus. Salvation is far more than deliverance from sin; it’s the entrance into righteousness. It’s induction into liberty and dominion. Colossians 1:12-13 says, “Giving thanks unto the Father…Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son.”

Notice He didn’t bring you out of darkness and leave you at the mercy of Satan and the circumstances of life; rather, He brought you into His marvelous light, into a life of ever-increasing glory and unending victories. So, it’s not enough to celebrate that He brought you out of sin or out of darkness; the real deal is where He brought you into, where you are now.

He brought you out of pain, sickness, disease and infirmities that He might bring you into health. He brought you out of poverty that He might bring you into wealth. In Acts 26:17-18, we see this divine pattern again; it says, “Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God….”

He emphasizes the transition into something higher, a divine relocation. He’s brought you into Himself; you’re in Him now. You live in the realm of divine authority, love, glory and power. Therefore, reign and rule in righteousness, dominating the forces of this world. Blessed be God!

CONFESSION
I live in righteousness, health, abundance, wisdom and dominion. I’m in Christ, and I’ve embraced my inheritance in Him. I reign in life, fully aware of my translation into the Kingdom of God’s Love-Son. Thank you heavenly Father, for the redemptive work of Christ and the glorious life it has ushered me into, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
