When God wants to promote a man to a higher grace or assignment, He rarely begins by crowning him. Instead, God usually breaks him in order that He may release the necessary grace that is hidden within them. The crushing process may be painful and often degrading, but it is usually God's way of unleashing a new level within you in preparation for your next assignment. There can be no olive oil without the crushing of olives. Joseph experiend this crushing through the betrayal of his brothers. His enslavement was necessary to prepare him for his divine responsibility in the palace.
Whatever you are going through, it isn't in vain. God has a purpose for you. Even the alabaster box had to be broken in order for the aroma of its contents to fill the entire room for all to smell. The pressures God has allowed in your life are going to produce a new grace for greater purpose in your life in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Remember, "all things work together for the good of those that love the Lord and are called for His purpose"....In all seasons, keep the faith.
