The blessing of fire and water takes place before Easter and a day after the Good Friday

During the Easter Vigil, Sacrament of Baptism, people lighted up there candles and renewed their Baptismal Vow.

GOOD FRIDAY 🕊️

Today, we remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and his ultimate act of love for all of humanity. On this Good Friday, let us reflect on the significance of his death and the hope it brings for our future. May we all find peace and strength in his teachings.

Today, Wednesday 5th April 2023, Bishop Ruldof Nyandoro celebrated Chrism Mass at St Theresa Cathedral, Gweru.

At the Mass, the priests renewed their priestly vows.

As an essential part of the Chrism Mass, the Chrism oil was consecrated while Oil of Catechumens and Oil of the sick was blessed.
