Prayer is not just a routine; it is the very breath of our relationship with Abba. It is deep, unbroken communion with our Creator—a sacred space where our hearts beat in sync with His.

As children of God, we live to worship Him.

Man ought always to pray and not faint (Luke 18:1).

There are seasons when Communion demands more than just our words — it requires the total surrender of prayer and fasting (Mark 9:29).

This September, we step into a consecrated season of fasting and intentional communion.

It is time to strip away the distractions, draw close to His presence, and experience radical intimacy with God.

"Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know." — Jeremiah 33:3

I often wonder about the silence in the temple courts.
Not during the sacrifices.
Not during the singing.
But in the quiet hours, when most had gone home.

The hours when Anna was still there.
When an 84-year-old widow chose fasting over food.
When prayer was more familiar than sleep.
When everyone else moved on with life, but she stayed.

Because faithfulness is rarely born in the crowd.
It is born in the waiting.
In choosing God when no one is watching.
In believing for a promise you may never see with your own eyes.

They called her old.
They called her a widow
They called her forgotten.
God called her a prophetess.

And when Jesus finally walked in,
She didn’t need an announcement.
She recognized Him.
She knew HIM
Because people who ABIDE in His presence always know when He arrives.

She gave thanks.
And she spoke.
Because some miracles are only entrusted to those who refused to leave the PRESENCE

*Luke 2:37-38* _“She departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day... and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption.”
