_2 Kings 4:1-7_
_Sermon Title :_
*Permanent Breakthroughs*
Being "almost there" is not enough. We say no to shortlived breakthroughs. We worship a God that has promises for you and I that are directed to Greatness and honour.
Give all your burdens unto God and see how great the things He is able to do for you.
We are here introduced to a widow that had a husband that held fast the works of the Lord but had left his family in debt for finances that he did not honour.
She went to Elisha that guided her on how to go about matter.
She left, adhered to the instructions and it worked for her. You ought to honour and adhere to instructions of the Lord and you will be a manifestation of the great works of the Lord.
God has a tendency of working with what you have as He has the Ability to create things out of nothing.
She had a few vessels but those few brought forth a whole turn.
Your success is determined by your trust in the Lord and if you will be able to let God lead.
Do not be too quick to run and finish up. Each thing takes time.
On that same now, flee from quick fixes. As they come fast, they also go fast.
Do not allow yourself to be part of life event statistics. Be wise and think things through.
Stop sharing all the plans you have of the future.
Keep people guessing.
It is not all people that are routing for you. Be weary and very vigilant.
Also, do not be content with pit you are in, the stress you are in, the turmoil you are in, the marital struggles you are in.
Peter was in the prison, chained and in cuffs but he was not content to be there. The church prayed and had an Encounter with the Lord.
Take note, do not rush to celebrate early because there is still a journey to trail after the Encounter.
The chains were loosed during this Encounter but that does not mean he was now out of the prison.
The Angel held his hand and they started making their way out of the prison.
There were still gates that he had to go through until he was finally out.
First gate, second gate and lastly the iron gate that les to the city.
The walk of faith is a journey of patience and endurance.
Be sure to walk it with the Lord at heart focused on the end goal. Do not lose focus. Be vigilant, wholehearted in your approach for the Lord searches the heart and its agenda.
