🌙✨ 1448 AH | Happy Islamic New Year ✨🌙

As we welcome the blessed month of Muharram and the beginning of a new Hijri year, let us renew our intentions, increase in gratitude, and strive to draw closer to Allah ﷻ.

اللَّهُمَّ أَدْخِلْهُ عَلَيْنَا بِالْأَمْنِ وَالْإِيمَانِ وَالسَّلَامَةِ وَالْإِسْلَامِ وَرِضْوَانٍ مِنَ الرَّحْمَنِ وَجِوَارٍ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ

“O Allah, bring this new year upon us with security, īmān, safety, Islam, Your pleasure, and protection from Shayṭān.”

May Allah ﷻ make this new year a means of barakah, guidance, forgiveness, and steadfastness for us, our families, and the entire Ummah. Āmīn.

Alhamdulillāh, our masjid continues to grow as a place of worship, learning, and service to the community. As we strive to strengthen our Deen and build a brighter future for generations to come, we are embarking on an important project — the construction of the Imām’s Quarters at Masjidul Kareem.

This is a noble opportunity to spend in the path of Allah. The Imām is the heart of the masjid, guiding our families, nurturing our youth, leading us in prayer, and keeping our community connected to the Qur’ān and Sunnah.

By helping us build these quarters, you are contributing to the continued strength, stability, and growth of our masjid and its sacred mission.

The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever builds a house for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Jannah.”

Your contribution—big or small—will be a sadaqah jāriyah that continues to earn reward long after we’ve left this world. Every brick, every nail, every effort will stand as a witness for you on the Day of Qiyāmah.

إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُون

(Verily, to Allah we belong, and to Allah we shall return.)

With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, we inform our beloved community of the passing Auntie Moerieda Moosa , who returned to the mercy of Allah ﷻ on the 10th of June 2026 corresponding with the 23rd of Zhul Hijjah 1447.

Salātul Janāzah: Masjidul Kareem, directly after 'Asr salaah

Maqbarah: De wet street

We ask Allah ﷻ to forgive her shortcomings, grant her a high place in Jannatul Firdaus, and grant patience and strength to his loved ones during this difficult time.

The family kindly requests your du‘ā and presence at the Janazah prayer.
May Allah ﷻ make it easy for them and reward all those who attend and supplicate for the deceased.

May Allah ﷻ grant us all a good ending and reunite us with our loved ones in Jannah.
