Most people who critisise the Bible haven't even read it themselves.

Their beliefs are determined by other people's conclusions.

Now this happens to be peak season for unbelievers to "debunk" the Bible because there are a number of flaws in the Easter celebration.🤣
This is warranted. Question what doesn't make sense.🤔

Question:
> why the date always changes?
> what exactly eggs and bunnies have to do with Christ?
> why is Easter not mentioned in the Bible but the Passover is and more importantly, what is the difference between the two?
> why do believers recrucify Christ when He rose on the 3rd day and conquered even death?
> How even the 3 days are Friday to Sunday when biblically the day starts at evening - to evening? (keeping in mind the day has 24 hours.
> who is Ishtar and what does she have to do with Easter

And so on.

Yes, question things but learn to ask the right questions.

Wisdom of Solomon 1:4
[4]For into a malicious soul wisdom shall not enter; nor dwell in the body that is subject unto sin.

When we ask The Most High for Wisdom, we have to ask ourselves if She can even dwell within us?
Is the environment (which is us) good enough for Her pureness?
This journey is a constant work on ourselves, constant looking in the mirror, constant refining. ❤️

If the reason you're going to church is to have people who will bury you then you need to reevaluate yourself.

Church is a home away from home, you are meant to gather with fellow Saints and actively give praise and worship to The Most High God. To get guidance and understanding from leadership about the purpose of life and this purpose is the ultimate aim of the church and it's members.

The aim is to see and be in the new Jerusalem, to be found pleasing to God and given the ultimate honor of being beside the Father in the heavens for the rest of eternity.

We are not on this journey for clout or to simply have people sing at our funeral. We are doing this to save our souls from eternal damnation.

A name is something special, especially if God Himself is the one who gave it to you.
Not all the children of God got a name change but a select few; think of Abraham who was once called Abram, Israel was Jacob, Paul was Saul.

Our church was once called Sedibeng saBophelo but The Most High gave us a new name, a name He calls us by, Word of Salvation. We have never been a church that goes by our own agenda, we pride ourselves in doing Intando kaBaba. The purpose of our lives is to keep His laws, commandments and statutes.

So there is immense honor in knowing that not only did He name us but HE CALLS US BY NAME in the heavenly courts.
