Agents of Hope and followers 🕯️
To the Families, Schools, and Communities of the Vaal, Sedibeng District,
In light of the morning school hours tragedy on the Golden Highway, we extend our deepest condolences during this profoundly sorrowful time. The tragic accident that claimed the lives of 14 young learners has left our hearts shattered. We join you in prayer, asking God to envelop you in comfort, strength, and peace.
Our thoughts are also with those currently recovering in hospitals. May the Lord's healing hand rest upon them, restoring their health and instilling hope in their families.
As the Methodist Church of Southern Africa HeSwa District Young Women’s Manyano, we pledge to support you through this valley of grief by offering love, solidarity, and assistance. May the light of Christ illuminate this darkness, reminding us that even amid pain, His presence instills hope.
We kindly invite those in the surrounding areas to join in prayer at 17:00 tomorrow (20/01/2026) at the site of the accident, when possible in full uniform. Which is organized by the Westvaal Circuit Church Leadership.
