Sermon Title: Unmasking the Mammon Spirit

✨Jesus taught that no one can serve two masters. You cannot serve both God and mammon. (Mammon refers to money, but in a spiritual sense it is the spirit or god associated with wealth)

✨Behind money is a spiritual force that seeks to control people. It is not money itself that is evil, but the love of money.

✨We need money, but we should never love it more than God.

✨When God blesses people with wealth, their true priorities are revealed. Some people seek God only for what He can give them, not for who He is.

✨A lover of money cannot fully be a lover of God. There are people who use money, and there are people who are used by money.

✨If you truly love God, there are things you will never do just for money. God must always come before money.

✨Do not make money your master. Money is a bad master because it controls people. Money is a good slave when it is under your control.

✨God is a jealous God and does not share His place with anything else. Anything that competes with God is dangerous to your spiritual life.

✨We do not live only once; we live on earth and go to live another life. The mindset of “you only live once” is a mammon mindset which often leads people to live recklessly

✨Those who are led by God understand that life continues beyond this world. Mammon focuses people only on earthly gain.

✨Giving is a matter of the heart, not the amount you have. Those who are faithful in giving when they have little will remain faithful when they have much.

✨Money should never be your master. When God is your Master, you give willingly and generously, because your treasure follows where your heart is.

✨Our trust should be in God, not in wealth or possessions. Riches are not the problem; what matters is whether they have taken God’s place in our hearts.

✨ God tests our hearts before releasing greater blessings. He examines our character, priorities, and faithfulness to ensure that money will not control us.

✨ Regularly examine your heart against being ruled by money, making sure God remains your focus and priority.

✨When God is first in our lives, He gives us the wisdom and control over money, material things so they serve His purpose.

✨Put God first above all things. Love and serve Him alone, refusing to be divided between God and money, and guard your heart against the spirit of mammon. “For what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?” Mark 8:36

✨See money as a tool, not a master. Use it wisely for God’s purposes, without allowing it to control your life.

✨Live with eternity in mind and fully trust in God. Depend on Him above money and possessions, keeping eternity in mind in all you do🙏🏾

Title: The return of the prodigal son

Brother Leeroy reminded us that we often ask God for blessings but forget to thank Him when they are given to us. Like the prodigal son, when we have sinned, we should return to our Father with humility, surrendering and submitting ourselves fully to Him.

God works with those who have a surrendered heart. We do not receive God’s grace because we deserve it, but because of His mercy. God looks beyond outward appearances and examines the heart, seeking a genuine desire to know Him and submit to His will. We must trust that He knows our needs better than we do. We were reminded that God looks at the heart and often prepares our capacity before releasing certain blessings.

💫Let us approach God’s throne with humility, give thanks for every blessing, and celebrate the testimonies and breakthroughs of others🙏🏾

Title: Possessing the Land

• Ezekiel 36:12

✨Whenever there is an earthquake, the ground is shaken.

✨In Acts 16, when the earthquake came, the chains fell off and the prison doors opened

✨God brought an earthquake because He was dealing with the foundations that were causing limitations.

✨Paul and Silas were bound because of what was connected to the ground, so God shook the foundation.

✨Sometimes your freedom comes when you pray until there is a spiritual earthquake that shakes the foundations of your life.

✨Their chains fell because the foundations were shaken. As long as the prison’s foundation remains intact, people remain bound.

✨For chains to fall and doors to open, foundations must be dealt with.

✨Prayer has the power to shake foundations and brings freedom

✨Sometimes people pray without understanding what they are fighting against and to overcome limitations, you must understand the foundations that shape your life, including family background, generational patterns, and inherited struggles.

✨Deal with the foundations that keep you in one place, Instead of carrying the burdens of your bloodline, confront them in prayer.

✨When foundations are dealt with, chains fall and doors open.

✨The Israelites were given spiritual title deeds, which were more powerful than physical ownership.

✨God desires His children to possess their own land and not live under another lord or landlord, but to own and possess what belongs to them.

✨Possessing begins with believing. Before ownership becomes physical, it starts in the mind.

✨Every blessing from God begins with faith. Direct your faith and your thoughts toward what you are believing God for.

✨Where your faith is focused, you begin attracting what God has promised. Faith draws what seems distant closer.

✨It is not humility to remain in poverty. Faith is free, so believe God for great things.

✨Possession does not start with money; it starts with faith.

✨Be specific about what you are expecting from God, write your vision down, confess it consistently.

✨Thank God for what you already have while waiting for what you are believing for.

✨Do not change your prayer point because of delays, continue thanking God while maintaining your expectation.

✨Never settle for less than what God has promised

✨If something belongs to you spiritually, physical possession is only a matter of time. Likewise, if something is not yours spiritually, physical possession may not last.
-The one who owns it spiritually will eventually possess it

✨God has always been concerned with giving His children land. Goshen was protected because it had spiritual title deeds from above and it brought protection, covering, favour.

✨When God gives you your own land, He places His protection upon it.

✨There are places where spiritual influences operate.

✨Your mindset must leave places of limitation before your life can leave them.

✨In Ezekiel 36:12, God spoke to the land and commanded it to yield itself to His people.
- The land was instructed to cooperate with God’s children so they could possess it. The land has ears.

✨“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Believe God for bigger, greater things and change your mindset before expecting different results.

✨Your faith is shaped by what you continually see and hear.
- Spend time with things that build your faith.
- Watch, listen to, and engage with things that strengthen your spiritual life.
- A renewed mind creates room for greater possession.

💫 Pray for the foundations and stop settling for less and start possessing what God has already promised

When praise goes up, His glory comes down🙌✨

What a powerful time of praise and worship🔥as we surrendered our hearts and lifted the name of Jesus.

As we lifted our voices in praise, hearts were stirred, burdens were lifted, and the presence of God filled the room. There is no place we’d rather be than in His presence🙏🏾

Title: The Mystery of the Land

✨Man is above every other creature because he carries the Spirit of God, unlike animals that only possess natural life.

✨God breathed into man the breath of life. This was not just ordinary oxygen like animals breathe, but the very life and Spirit of God within man.

✨As humans, we carry two kinds of life:
- The flesh/physical life that came from the ground and survives through oxygen.
- The Zoe life, the eternal life of God within us that never dies.

✨Many people focus only on feeding the flesh life while neglecting the eternal spiritual life. We must stop serving or worshipping God only because of material things.

✨“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” This means we should not only satisfy the physical body, but also feed the spiritual life through the Word of God.

✨The flesh needs bread, but the spirit also needs bread, which is the Word of God.

✨There must be balance and not neglect one life while feeding the other. Feed the Spirit of God within you through: pray, the word of God, worship and fellowship with God

✨Go deeper into the realm of prayer to gain understanding and revelation.

✨The spirit life influences the flesh life. The flesh should be subject to the spirit; the physical life is meant to follow the spiritual life.

✨God did not curse Adam directly; He cursed the ground for Adam’s sake because God cannot curse what He has already blessed

✨Man was formed from the dust of the ground, therefore man and the ground are spiritually connected.

✨Touch and speak blessings over the ground you stand on. Pray over it, and prophesy good things concerning it.

✨The land hears and responds spiritually, just as God spoke to the earth in creation and it obeyed.

✨Sometimes the issue is not the person, but the ground or environment connected to them.

✨There are situations where people work hard yet remain unproductive because the ground is cursed. Hard work alone is not enough if the ground is not spiritually fruitful.

✨Sometimes prayers seem unanswered because the wrong thing is being prayed for.

✨Reverse every negative word spoken over your ground or environment.

✨The enemy may attack the ground around a person because man is connected to the earth.

✨Always bless every ground you step on because the ground can either work for you or against you.

💫Distance is not a barrier in the spiritual realm. Do not live blindly or ignore spiritual realities concerning places and environment.

As the mystery of the land was revealed this Sunday, the atmosphere shifted as praise arose and worship filled the house of God 🎶❤️🙌🏽

What a powerful and Spirit-filled time in God’s presence with the praise and worship team. As every song went forth, hearts were lifted, atmosphere shifted, and the presence of God moved mightily among us🔥

Truly, the ROC Praise Team ushered us into an atmosphere saturated with God’s presence and His name exalted. Indeed, the ground was prepared for a powerful move of God and a Next Level of breakthrough and understanding in Him 🙌🏽✨
