SKILFUL AND ARTFUL

Proverbs 11 v 30 (KJV)..And he that winneth souls is wise.

Jesus Christ told His disciples that they would be witnesses unto Him in both Jerusalem and in all Judea and in Samaria ( Acts 1 v 8). This was the Lord giving them a strategy for how Christianity was going to spread. The word wise in the text above is the word chakam in Hebrew, which means to be skilful or artful. You don't become wise after winning a soul; you acquire wisdom first in order to win.

Wisdom is knowing that your present territory is fertile ground and that no ground is difficult to win souls. Have a clear strategy and plan before you embark on a soul- winning campaign in order to get results. The more you plan, the more effective you become.

Make sure that you don't only lead a person to Christ and then never do a proper follow-up afterwards. Follow up and travail until Christ is fully formed in them.

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Lord, grant me wisdom and strategy for effective soul - winning. Make me skilful and consistent, and help me to follow up faithfully until Christ is fully formed in those I reach.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION
As I grow in wisdom this year, my soul - winning efforts are effective, productive and a success in Jesus' Name. Amen.

SMALL POTATOES

Psalms 34 v 19 ( KJV)
Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

The longest cyclone ever recorded lasted thirty - six days. Paul encountered a storm called Euroclydon, where he found himself and others shipwrecked.

Sometimes life is full of stormy weather and becomes too dangerous to sail. The variables that are easily controllable under normal conditions become uncontrollable. One thing is certain: the storm is trivial and insignificant ( small potatoes) in comparison to what God has in store.

This is the time to proclaim, " All things that are seen are temporal (brief and fleeting) and are subject to change!" Devote yourself to God in prayer and the Word, and He will appear like He did to Paul (Acts 27 v 22 -25). Every trouble has an expiry date. It's not meant for you to expire but to reveal God's glory.

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Lord, help me to remain unmoved by storms and troubling seasons. Anchor me in Your Word and strengthen me in prayer, knowing You will deliver me out of every affliction and reveal Your glory.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I am not moved by what I see, I am only moved by the Word of God. Hard times are small potatoes compared to the good times and lavish celebrations God has prepared for me this year. Hallelujah!

THE SMART ONE

Ecclesiastes 10 v 7 (KJV)
I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth.

Some Christian's can easily relate to the scripture above. Why? Because they are not experiencing life in the order God ordained for them. The princes should be the ones upon horses and not on foot. Jesus said, " The children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light" ( Luke 16 v 8) Maturity in God guarantees whether one can fully appropriate God's blessing and inheritance in this life.

In this Year of Strange Oil, make a conscious decision to quickly grow by devoting yourself to the study of this Word so that you become a mature Christian. The Word of God makes you smarter, intelligent and creative. Don't just live to get by. You were not born simply to es**rt others whilst they enjoy everyday life. Take your rightful position as a joint heir with Christ.

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father, grow me quickly in spiritual maturity. Let Your Word increase my wisdom, creativity, and understanding, and position me to take my rightful place as a joint, heir with Christ.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION
The Word of God is increasing my wisdom and maturity. His creative ability is now at work in me. I provide solutions to every challenge that confronts me. Hallelujah!

SPREAD ABROAD

1 Timothy 4 v 15 (KJV)
Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.

God's desire is for you not to advance in life in silence, but for your progress to spread abroad. Just like a pregnant woman cannot hide a pregnancy, your progress in life should be evident in all. The word appear in our opening scripture means to spread abroad, manifest, burst forth.

Apostle Paul reminded Timothy that the gift he had received by prophecy and laying on of hands was not enough. Timothy needed to marinate himself in God's Word through meditation. Meditation was the vehicle needed for his profiting to appear to all.

Is it your business or your church you need to spread abroad? Is it your calling, gift or talent you need to manifest? Meditate and you shall burst forth!

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Lord, stir my heart to meditate on Your Word consistently. Let my progress burst forth and be evident to all, and cause every gift, calling, and assignment in my life to spread abroad.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION
As I meditate on the Word day and night, I receive greater insight into reality. My progress and my achievement in life are sure and guaranteed in Jesus' Name. Amen.

ILLUMINATE

Ephesians 5 v 6 (KJV)
For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light.

We are now living in the last days where darkness has increased upon the face of the Earth. Evil and wickedness have become the order of the day. News channels report daily the societal, economic, environmental, political, medical and spiritual challenges confronting the world. They paint a perfect dark picture of the state of the Earth and its inhabitants.

Don't be alarmed when you see the happening: be of good cheer. We are not perturbed neither moved, nor shaken by bad news across news networks. The world says, " there is light at the end of the tunnel, " but we are the light walking in the tunnel. We are immune to the negative systems and ethos of the world.

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father, thank You that I am light in the Lord. Strengthen me to walk as a child of light, fearless in dark times, and let my life illuminate my world with Your glory and virtue.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I am the effulgence--the brightness---of God's glory. I shine forth radiantly, illuminating my world with glory and virtue. I am a light brighter and an answer to a dying world.

BLESSED BOUNDARIES

Joshua 1 v 3 (KJV)
Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.

God did not give Joshua a general instruction---He gave him a defined territory and told him to walk boldly into what was already his. In the same way, there are specific places, opportunities, and assignments God has marked out for you. When you understand the boundaries of your blessing, you stop spreading your energy everywhere and start stepping precisely where grace is already waiting.

Many Christians move from idea to idea without realizing that success is often location- activated. When God has spoken a blessing over a place or task, the results come with ease, favour, and acceleration. Instead of guessing, ask the Lord to reveal where He has already commanded increase for you.

Today, step into what He has given and refuse to wander outside the paths He has prepared.

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father, reveal the paths and places You have already blessed for me. Guide my steps so I walk within Your appointed boundaries and experience grace, favour, and acceleration.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION
In this Year of Strange Oil, I walk boldly within the borders God has designed for me. I step into grace, favour, and results with precision, in Jesus' Name!
