Dear Beloved,

*Job 2:4-5 “A man will give all he has for his own life. 5 But now stretch out your hand and strike his flesh and bones, and he will surely curse you to your face.”*

The Devil uses the same approach to attacking us today. The evil one targets our flesh and bones with certainty that upon defeat, we will curse God. I suppose with COVID19 impact, the Devil’s strategy has been simplified. The Devil will fiddle with our careers, ambitions, passions, our beloved, commitments and everything close to our hearts. If we do not give in, the next level is tempering with our bodies—all these efforts to temper with our God-given souls.

We must remember that we are saved by grace. The grace is extended to all regardless. Christ has defeated death *(Rom 14:8)* for us to live and die for our salvation in him. There is nothing else the Devil can do to us; be it the loss of careers, struggling businesses, complicated personal lives and with toxic relationships or anything else. Nothing will ever remove us from the God-given grace, even death itself.

Moreover, *(I Cor 10v13)* God will never let us be tempted beyond our strength, and he always makes a way us of escape so that we can bear everything and in that we triumph like Job. Let us not be shaken the pattern of this world, but (Matt 6:22) peel our eyes to see how the Devil is at play.

The Church of God

The Church was formed upon the strong foundation to restore men to God like at the beginning. This is the Church according to Matthew 16: 18 – “And I also say unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock, I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Jesus is the cornerstone of this Church; he was resurrected from death, illustrating the power of God that prevail against the gates of hell into eternity.

Jesus is also the head of this Church according to Ephesians 5: 23 – “For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.” Anyone that is added to the Church of Jesus Christ submits to him like the wife ought to submit to the husband to be preserved in his body.
Let us bow to Christ through spiritual and truthful worship for submission. Let all men focus on Christ and his words.

Blessed are righteous through Faith

Matthews: 1: 21 – “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.”
Earthly possessions such as cars, properties and money are not an accurate indication of Christ presence as blessings in our lives, but his purpose to have come to earth is to free all from sin.

Our role in staying faithful is to practice righteousness to overcome wickedness as mentioned in Romans: 12: 21 – “Be not overcome of evil but overcome evil with good”. Therefore, the only way to conquer evil is to do good regardless of what one goes through.

All things concerning God and his righteousness are in the Bible. His words have gathered so that you and I can find the truth about God. Isaiah : 34: 16 – “Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth, it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them”.

Prov 3: 3-4."Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favour and a right name in the sight of God and man. in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
In our daily lives, it is essential to ensure that we stick to our values and principle as prescribed to us by the words of God. A Godly life is full of love and faithfulness towards Gods. It confirms that if we seek his kingdom and acknowledge him, he will reward us with making our paths straight.
Hebrews 11:6, NIV: "And without faith, it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." ... Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him."

Let us stay unyielding in the faith to stay blessed in grace.

The New Testament Church, fulfilling the old testament message.

Isaiah 1 v 1
“1The vision of Isaiah, the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.”

Isaiah as a prophet of God, his visions were not spontaneous, but there were talking about the Church and Christ. God spoke in many ways and in many times about the plan of salvation and the gospel Hebrews 1v1. The plan of salvation has been communicated throughout the generations in the old testament; however, it was not revealed.

Isaiah 28 v 16
“16Therefore, thus says the Lord GOD: See, I lay in Zion a stone, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone, firmly placed; he who believes shall not act hastily.”

The Church started in 33 AD in Jerusalem according to the events in the book of Acts. It was the fulfilment of God’s promise to Abraham mentioned in the book of Genesis 12: 1-3. The plan of salvation has been there right from the beginning; it was communicated through the prophets, laws and psalms as elaborated by Jesus in Luke 24 v44. It was ultimately revealed to the Apostles as Paul explained in the book of Ephesians 3: 1-5. It is for these reasons the Church is formed on the foundation of the Prophets and Apostles Ephesians 2:20.

Good morning,

*1 Peter 1:14‭-‬15*

*As people who obey God, do not let yourselves be shaped by the evil desires you used to have when you were still ignorant. On the contrary, following the Holy One who called you, become holy yourselves in your entire way of life;*

Do we ever wonder what shape do we reflect to Christ today? Do we still look, walk, think and talk as we ought to or we have confirmed to our old sinful ways and now shapeless like them?

Let's not be confused by the tribulations. For our faith to be found genuine, it shall be tested like gold. The melting point of gold by fire does not mean its weak, but rather it is purified, having removed other non gold particles from it. It is thus ready to be shaped as desired.

Tribulations should expose our genuine nature of faith to God and our readiness to be refined according to his will.

Good morning

*Exodus 25:8*

"I also want them to build a special place where I can live among my people."

The tent was not sacred because of the material used to build it. It's value was not based on the value of the building materials used for it. But It was the dwelling of the Lord in it that made it special and Holly.

1 Corinthians 6:19 CEV
" You surely know that your body is a temple where the Holy Spirit lives. The Spirit is in you and is a gift from God. You are no longer your own."

Let's focus in the presence of God as the true value of our lives. Since our bodies are his temple that resides the holy spirit, we have much more to live for according to his will than for any other cause.
