On Sunday, 30 May, we had the privilege of welcoming the Adult Choir of Blessed Isidore Bakanja Catholic Church (Protea Glen), Fr Duik's former parish. They sang with our choir at the 09:00 Mass. After Mass, they enjoyed some refreshments in the hall with Fr Duik and the PPC.

On Friday, 5 June 2026, a group of gentlemen from our parish took Fr Duik out for supper at The Hussar Grill at Silverstar Casino. The evening was characterized by brotherhood and fellowship where the men got to know each other and to set the tone for the founding of a Men's Group at the parish. Messages of appreciation for their parish priest were shared, and Fr Duik, in turn, expressed his appreciation for the kind gesture from these men sharing with them his love for his ministry at Our Lady of Peace thus far. Three men were tasked with setting up a next gathering of men soon. We urge the rest of the men in the parish to get on board.
