What a timely reminder that we don’t walk this journey alone. The Spirit is with us, in us, guiding, teaching, convicting, and empowering us for every step.

This past Sunday, we looked at the ascension of Jesus and were reminded that our risen Savior is exalted at the right hand of the Father, reigning in glory and interceding for His people. The ascension is not the end of the story, but a reminder that Jesus is King and that He will return again in power and glory.

Today we remember the glorious ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ

Jesus has been gloriously exalted to heaven and now reigns as King over all. He is not distant from us He is interceding for us and preparing our eternal home.

His ascension reminds us that His work on earth was accomplished, and it calls us to live with purpose and in the power of the Holy Spirit as we look forward to His return, just as He ascended into heaven.

“Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand looking into heaven? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen Him go into heaven.” Acts 1:11
