💰 Does following Jesus guarantee wealth, health and success?

What if the Gospel isn’t about what Jesus can give you… but about who Jesus is?

In this message, The Gospel According To… Prosperity Theology, Rev. Damon Kotze looks honestly at what prosperity theology promises, what the Bible actually promises, and what Jesus really died for.

God does bless. God provides. God heals. God answers prayer.

But the Gospel never promises that Christians will always be wealthy, healthy or successful.

Jesus is not a means to a better life. Jesus IS life.

If He gives you much, thank Him.
If He gives you little, trust Him.
If He gives you health, praise Him.
If He allows sickness, cling to Him.
If He gives you success, glorify Him.
If He allows suffering, remain faithful to Him.

Because our greatest treasure isn't what God puts in our hands.

Our greatest treasure is God Himself.

✝️ Christ is enough.
❤️ Christ is the treasure.
🙌 Christ is the blessing.

“What must I do to be saved?”

There are only two answers: DO… or DONE.

Religion says, “Do.”
The Gospel says, “Done.”

We cannot earn God’s forgiveness through our good works, morality, church attendance, baptism, sincerity or religious heritage. Our good works can never pay the debt we owe to a perfectly holy God.

But Jesus did what we could never do.

He lived the perfect life we could never live, died the death we deserved, and gives His righteousness to those who trust in Him.

Good works are the fruit of salvation — not the root of salvation.

We don’t do good things to become God’s children; we do good things because we are God’s children.

So the question is: What will you stand on before God?

Everything you have done… or everything Christ has done?

Only Christ is enough. ✝️
