Alabelewe Sets Historic Pace with One-Year Professorial Endowment Commitment for Muhammad Kamalud-deen University
At the weekly lecture of the Ansarul Islam Society of Nigeria held at Okekere, Ilorin, the Registrar of Muhammad Kamalud-deen University and National Murshid of the Youth Wing of the Society, Engr. Musa M. Kamaludeen Al-Adabiy, passionately called on well-meaning philanthropists and stakeholders to support the growth and development of the University through various intervention initiatives, including professorial endowment programmes.
In a significant and historic development, during a courtesy visit by the Management of Muhammad Kamalud-deen University led by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Rasheed Gbenga Jimoh, to the Abuja office of the Second National Vice President of the Ansarul Islam Society of Nigeria, Alhaji Sharafuddeen Alabelewe publicly declared his readiness to set the pace as the first individual to champion a one-year Professorial Endowment in the history of the University.
Speaking during the engagement, Alhaji Sharafuddeen Alabelewe stated that he would prefer the endowment to be in the field of Accounting, being his area of specialization. He further encouraged other well-meaning Nigerians and lovers of educational advancement to emulate the gesture, emphasizing that the Ansarul Islam Society of Nigeria remains a non-profit organization deeply committed to giving back to society and contributing meaningfully to human development.
Responding to the landmark gesture, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Rasheed Gbenga Jimoh, expressed profound appreciation to Alhaji Sharafuddeen Alabelewe for the noble initiative and goodwill shown towards the University. He noted that the remarkable 100% success recorded during the November/December 2025 programme accreditation exercise conducted by the National Universities Commission was made possible through the unwavering support and goodwill of distinguished personalities such as him.
The visit also featured special prayers offered on behalf of Shaykh Muhammad Kamalud-deen HabeebuLlah Al-Adabiy, the Board of Trustees, Governing Council, Management, Staff, and Students of Muhammad Kamalud-deen University by Engr. Musa M. Kamaludeen Al-Adabiy, Registrar of the University
