Today we had our Consecration Service led by our Brothers Lutho & Tlotlo.
Brother Tlotlo led Praise and Worship, with Psalm 35. He led with Xhosa Hymn 246-Lukhangela Kuwe Mvana ye Khalvari, Sotho 183-Joko ea hao e bobebe and closed off with Sotho Hymn 191-Ke Sikiloe ke Jesu. Brother Tlotlo’s message was, as the Youth within the Church, may we never stop praying, we should not have to wait for Victory to praise God. Prayer is a convo between you and God. He closed off by, “Sifela ke Thapelo, when prayer & words fail, OPELA SIFELA”
Brother Lutho Jojo led the Devotion today with Story of The Prodigal Son(LUKE 15:11-32) He highlighted that the Father in the Story represents God. The Older Son represents us (Guilders) who took on the Responsibility to be ambassadors of Christ.
The Younger Sons represent, ones who born within the Church but because of the trails of life, have found themselves living outside of the church. LUKE 31(NKJV) “Son, you are always with me and all that I have is yours.”
In everything, God is always present, there walking the journey with us, let us never forget, when we grow tired or lose our way with Faith, we go back to him as GOD so he can led us back.
We closed off the C with Our Convenor Sister Pontso, we read letters we wrote to ourselves last year on the 13 of JUNE 2025. The Exercise was a testament of Growth. We individually shared and reflected on where we are now and if we worked on the things we prayed for, asked for and vowed to work on.
